We have a house ready for you - spotless - with all the trimmings. 

The beds are made, the towels are ready, the hot tub is warm!

What an Achterhoek topper
This detached house is hip, trendy and completely renovated with an Achterhoek twist. 

You will walk up the path and you will be amazed by the nice garden. Walk on. Around the corner is the front door - Welcome to Achterhoekshuisje! 

Inside everything is ready for you. In the winter we have already lit the wood stove for you. In the summer, the air conditioning is on. And look at that floor - you don't often experience this - A heated Waaltjes floor... And.... Detail... these old Waaltjes really come from Achterhoek streets. Admire the living room and extensive kitchen. From dishwasher to oven, from fridge-freezer combination to fine induction plate. The kitchen is completely complete. (bags, foil, dishwasher tabs, kitchen linen) It's all there. 

Upstairs - Master bedroom and luxurious bathroom
A small staircase leads to the master bedroom. What a coziness. Nice lights, a beautiful view and lovely freshly made beds. Open that cupboard.... Handy for the sultry summer evenings - an air conditioner. Great to fall asleep a little cooler. 

On the same floor a beautiful bathroom. A finely finished heated floor, beautiful toilet, luxury sink and a beautiful walk-in shower. Wonderful - especially after you have used the Finnish sauna. 

Two stairs down - 2 bedrooms and washing machine
We are going to drop to just below garden level. Feel that underfloor heating. Delicious. Heej surprising! 2 more beautiful bedrooms.

What a luxury, and how nice and cool it is here in the summer. From the bedrooms you can look straight into the green garden. 

The larger bedroom has 2 nice single beds. Completely made up and covered. Also handy reading lights and charging points for your smartphone. 

The other bedroom is a smaller bedroom with bunk beds. Completely made up, so you don't have to worry about that either. Just nice and functional with good mattresses. Stylishly decorated with beautiful woodwork. Just cosy. 

In the closet downstairs there is also a washing machine at your disposal. You can just use it. We even have the detergent ready. 

Green oasis

The garden is surprisingly laid out. Where do you want to sit? Under the mulberry roof trees? Or would you rather be at the front at the robust table? In the shade or rather in the sun? It's all possible. Do you prefer to look for greenness outside? You certainly can! How versatile this region shines. A rolling bocage landscape, interspersed with hedgerows and lots of forest. The cycling routes are really fantastic as well as the corridors. We have a number of them ready for you in the cottage. 

Wellness - That will certainly work with a hot tub and Finnish sauna!
Imagine it...... Busy period behind us, had a long journey and then arrive at Achterhoekshuisje. There is a serious hot tub ready for you, filled with fresh water. If you also want us to heat up the hot tub for you, click on the option: 'Heated pool' when booking. Then we will have warmed up the tub for you on arrival. It's a matter of changing clothes, putting on bath slippers and relaxing in the soothing hot tub. You can get stuck in it for hours. Have a nice glass and look at the Achterhoek stars high up in the sky. You can use this hot tub extensively for 3 days.

Experience the tranquility. 

By the way, if you have chosen our Finnish sauna, the same story applies... So.... busy period, long journey, swimwear and bath slippers etc., but now you turn towards  the sauna. What a wonderful thing! Sweat it out, get rid of all the stress and enjoy the soothing barrel sauna. Maybe you'll splash back into the hot tub afterwards.

Please note: In the period from Saturday 25 July to Saturday 8 August 2026, the use of the hot tub and sauna is not possible.
