In this meadow suite you will experience silence, space and comfort. Pets are welcome. You stay in the middle of nature, with a lovely bed, a nice sitting area and a private bathroom. From your window you look out over the vast meadows.
In the yard is an authentic farmhouse from 1867 with a restaurant and a private sauna that can be reserved. Cycling, supping or just doing nothing — everything is allowed.
The meadow suite of Pean-buiten Weidum is designed for peace and comfort, in the middle of nature.
Inside you will find an attractive bedroom with a lovely double bed, a cozy sitting area with a view over the meadows and a fully equipped private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. There is a small dining area and a pantry with coffee machine, kettle, refrigerator and crockery. Large windows provide plenty of light and a wide view. Outside you have your own terrace.
Everything is on one level and carefully decorated for a relaxing stay.
Access
Guests have the entire meadow suite to themselves.
You will have a private double bedroom, a sitting area, a private bathroom, a small dining area and a pantry. Everything is just for you.
In addition, you can use the orchard and the yard around the farm. The sauna in the farmhouse is available privately on reservation. The restaurant in the yard is accessible for breakfast, lunch or dinner, when open.

Pean-buiten Weidum is located in the heart of Friesland, between the water and the meadows. You are wonderfully outdoors here, but still close to everything. Leeuwarden is only a 15-minute bike ride away.
You can walk or cycle endlessly through the Frisian landscape, past old churches, villages and the Elfstedenwater. From your meadow suite you can step straight into the outdoors.
The atmosphere is relaxed, down-to-earth and real. No masses of tourists, but the good life. Here you can experience Friesland as it is meant to be.
About transport and parking at Pean-buiten Weidum
Parking is easy and close. You can park your car within walking distance of the meadow suite — not right next door, so you experience more peace and space. Electric charging stations are available.
The surrounding villages are easy to reach on foot or by bike. Leeuwarden is about 15 minutes by bike or a short drive away.
Don't feel like driving back? Good taxis and Uber are available in Leeuwarden.
Good to know
You will stay in a meadow suite in the middle of nature, with a view over the Elfstedenwater or vast meadows. Everything is private.
Dogs are welcome — just let us know in advance. In the yard you can rent bicycles or go on the water with a SUP. The area is beautiful for hiking.
Parking is free and a short walk from your meadow suite. And if you need something or want to make your stay even more enjoyable, we are there for you.
