The house:
Comfortable stone detached house with sunny secluded garden facing southeast with unobstructed views of the meadow. There is room for three cars in the private driveway.

The park:
The house is located in a very quiet, small-scale recreation park, without facilities (no reception, restaurant, etc.).
 
Facilities:
Wifi, Sonos wifi speaker, television with regular channels and Netflix, underfloor heating, washing machine, kitchen with built-in appliances (combi microwave and dishwasher), fridge-freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, good beds, duvets and pillows, bed linen and garden furniture.

Layout rooms (3 bedrooms):
On the ground floor is a double bedroom.
On the first floor there are two bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds, a desk and two office chairs.

The area:
The house is located in the Frisian hamlet of Rohel (<300 inhabitants) - municipality of De Fryske Marren - and is a fifteen-minute walk from the Tjeukemeer. At the lake you will find a beach pavilion (which has unfortunately been closed since 2025), beach, playground equipment, dog beach, place for fishing and a harbor with slipway. 
It is wonderful to walk, bird watch, water sports, fishing and cycling in the area.
Nearby are, among others: Joure (7 km), Echtenerbrug (8 km), Heerenveen (12 km), Sint Nicolaasga (12 km) and the 'Chameleon Village' Terherne (17 km). Leeuwarden is about half an hour's drive away and within an hour you are in Harlingen for the boat to Terschelling and Schiermonnikoog.
There are several supermarkets in the area (including Jumbo and AH). The nearest is the Spar in Rotsterhaule (4 km).
