In Oudemirdum, on the edge of the Jolderen forest, just a 5-minute drive from the IJsselmeer, you will find our beautiful cottage "Huizzze Bos & Meer". From this lovely house, equipped for 4 people (and a baby), you can enjoy all the beauty that this area has to offer.
Cycling, walking, golfing, boating, swimming, cozy terraces and visiting delicious restaurants is a small summary of what there is to do in this beautiful area.
The house, which dates from 1937, is located next to our own house and has its own driveway (suitable for 2 cars) with its own garden. The house has been completely renovated and insulated while retaining the authentic elements, such as the beautiful stained glass windows.
The cottage is fully and tastefully furnished and fully equipped, has a living room with smart TV and JBL speaker and there is a pellet stove, an open kitchen with all amenities and a dining room with dining table for 4 people and a high chair. There is a spacious bathroom with shower, two sinks and a toilet on the ground floor.
There are two bedrooms on the 1st floor, 1 bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom with 2 single beds.
There is also a baby travel cot in the house.
All beds (incl. baby cot) are equipped with fresh clean bed linen and 2 (bath) towels are provided per guest.
There is also a washing machine.
Any bicycles you have brought with you can be parked behind the house under a canopy (this cannot be locked).
The house borders a rich forest area (Jolderenbos, the Rijsterbos, Fonteinbos among others) and the lovely IJsselmeer with many beaches along the dike. You have the most beautiful walking and cycling routes here. And the most nice tourist water-rich villages and cities such as Sloten, Balk, Lemmer, Stavoren, Hindeloopen and so much more.
The house really embraces you and now with the cold days it is wonderful to really experience a warm homecoming feeling. That what the house really offers! 🏡
