De Tapuit

Our holiday home 'de Tapuit' is located just outside the pleasant village of Oudemirdum. The bungalow is located on the edge of the holiday park "het Fonteinbos". Because of this location you can walk or cycle straight into the forest.

Around the holiday home you have your own large garden shielded by vegetation. The garden has both sun and shade areas. At the front of the house is a south-facing terrace. The roof at the front of the house offers a sheltered seat.

The cottage can be rented for a maximum of 4 people. There are 3 bedrooms (bedroom 1: 2 person bed (140x190) with walking space on both sides, with 2 pillows and a 2 person duvet. Bedroom 2 and 3: 1 person bed each with a pillow and a 1 person duvet. A shower with sink, a separate toilet, a washing machine and dryer.The cozy living room has a complete open kitchen.The house is fully heated by central heating.

There is enough space on the plot to park your car. When the weather is nice to sit in the sun, there are 4 chairs with adjustable backrests with cushions and a table ready.

The living room is equipped with radio (via TV channel) and TV. The modern kitchen has plenty of storage space and a dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, a combi microwave/oven, a Nespresso and a filter coffee machine. Each bedroom has a closet and a mosquito net on the window. NEW: improved WiFi via own connection as of June 2021!

The attached barn is for the landlord's private property. You cannot use this. Bicycles can be stored dry under the roof.

Pets are not allowed.

The holiday park "het Fonteinbos" is a small-scale bungalow park with 55 houses in Gaasterland, the south of Friesland. All houses are privately owned and named after a bird. The park is quiet, ideal for nature lovers and families with small children. The park has a number of small playgrounds with equipment and/or sandbox. In the forest directly behind the cottage are many hiking trails, a forest pond and a gnome path for the little ones.
Within walking distance (500 M) is the pleasant green village of Oudemirdum. Here you will find a small supermarket, a bakery, a butcher, a bicycle rental, tourist office, snack bar, ATM and various restaurants. Larger supermarkets and other shops can be found in the nearby village of Balk (6 km) or Lemmer (10 km).
The area is ideal for nature lovers, hikers, golfers (9-hole golf course, Golfclub Gaasterland), cyclists and families with young children and beach lovers. The IJsselmeer near Rijs is about 3 km away. Here you can swim and kitesurf or sit on a terrace. About 2 km away on the IJsselmeer is 'De Hege Gerzen', restaurant with terrace and equipped with a beach, miniature golf, playground equipment and a swimming pool for the little ones.
