Our luxurious new chalet Goudmeer of 75m2, installed in 2023, is located in Oosterwolde on the border of Friesland and Drenthe in a wooded area. It is located in nature on a beautiful wooded plot of over 1000m2 in a small-scale park. Between the nature reserves Fochterloërveen and Drents Friese Wold, Oosterwolde is a true paradise for nature lovers and peace seekers. The holiday home is spacious, modern with luxurious SIEMENS equipment, comfortable with 3 air conditioners and comfortably furnished. There are two bedrooms with double beds and luxurious mattresses. Each bedroom has air conditioning, its own luxurious bathroom with toilet and underfloor heating. There is also an optional third small bedroom for two kids with a bunk bed. The on-site parking space is ideal. The chalet has a large terrace with several seating areas where you can experience ultimate tranquility.

Linen and towels are included in the price, so no hassle, you are on holiday after all.

Nature and environment

The nature house has an ideal connection with the nature in the area. Cyclists, hikers, birds and nature lovers are hard to beat here. The natural monuments in the Fochterloërveen area are located 1 kilometer away from the breeding site of Europe's crane. The area is very wooded. At the edge of the country, near the bottom of the heath, lies the Drents Friese Wild National Park. The historic UNESCO village of Veenhuizen is 1 kilometer away and is definitely worth a visit. Appelscha, Roden, Norway and Zuidlaren are nice places to visit for sightseeing or a bite to eat. Beautiful cities of Assen and Groningen can be reached within 30 minutes, but the Wadden Islands are also only an hour's drive away. There are also nice cycling and walking routes in the area.
