This new holiday home is located on the border of Friesland, Drenthe and Overijssel in the Frisian town of Noordwolde.

This holiday home was completed in June 2024 and is equipped with all comforts. This is located on a spacious plot (almost 1,000 m2) with a large terrace at the side and back of the house (accessible through sliding doors from the living room) where you have sun almost all day.

The garden offers a lot of privacy and plenty of space for children to play. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 of which have their own bathroom. The other 2 bedrooms have a shared bathroom. The spacious living room has a long table where you can sit with 8 people to eat, play a game or chat. In addition, there is a spacious sitting area with large TV. The kitchen is equipped with a Nespresso machine, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, induction hob and microwave. Both downstairs and upstairs there is a toilet and there is a washing machine and dryer.

The total living area is over 120m2.

We (Jan Wiegman and Mark Jubbega) live in Noordwolde and own this architecturally built holiday home. The house is based on a barn house. Hence the name "The Black Barn House". We built this house ourselves and it was completed at the beginning of June 2024. Hope you will have a lot of fun here. Tips for improvement are always welcome, so that new guests can also enjoy it to the fullest.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
• In case of cancellation more than twelve months before the effective date, 10% of the agreed price.
• In case of cancellation within six to twelve months before the commencement date, 30% of the agreed price.
• In case of cancellation within four to six months before the commencement date, 70% of the agreed price.
• In case of cancellation within two to four months before the commencement date, 80% of the agreed price.
• In case of cancellation within two months before the start date, 95% of the agreed price.
• In case of cancellation on or after the day of the commencement date, 100% of the agreed price
