Welcome to Chalet Along the Small Harbour
We are Helen and Rick, and this is our chalet at the 5-star Holiday Park De Kuilart in Koudum. We have happily decorated it in such a way that you can really get away from it all — nice and comfortable, in the middle of Frisian nature.
The chalet
The chalet is suitable for up to 4 people and has a spacious, bright living room with spacious corner sofa, dining table and patio doors to the terrace. The open kitchen is practically equipped for daily use. Furthermore, the chalet has:
- Two bedrooms (1x double bed, 1x twin beds)
- Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
- Heating for the cooler days
- Own fast wifi
Outside you have a private garden with lounge set and outdoor dining area. Have a quiet breakfast, an afternoon in the sun or sit in the evening — there is plenty of room for that.
The park
De Kuilart is a spacious 5-star holiday park, directly on the Fluessen. Everything is within walking distance:
- Indoor pool with slide
- Marina and boat and bike rental
- Restaurant and snack bar
- Playgrounds and sports fields
- Beaches in the park
Nice for families with children, but also for those who just want to walk, cycle and enjoy the water.
Surroundings
Koudum is located in the middle of the Frisian lake district. Beautiful places such as Hindeloopen, Workum and Stavoren are easily reached. Around the park you will find walking and cycling routes, swimming beaches and cozy eateries.

- Park fee and tourist tax: €7.50 p.p.p.n. (including swimming pool, wifi and parking ticket) — to be paid at the park on arrival
- Duvets and pillows provided; Bed linen and towels can be brought or rented (bed linen €7.50 p.p. · towels €5 p.p.)
- Kitchen towels and dishcloths are provided
- Minimum stay: 3 nights
