Our holiday home is located on the "peninsula" between the marina of Elahuizen and the lake "De Fluessen". Our lakehouse is located directly on the water and therefore has a unique location and view. You experience water sports from both inside and outside.
From the living room and the terrace you have a fantastic view over the entire lake "De Fluessen". During the day you can fully enjoy the entertainment on the water and in the evening the beautiful sunsets. From the other terrace you have an unobstructed view over the harbor of Elahuizen, where there is always something to do. Especially lovers of peace, reading, not having to do anything at all, water sports and cycling and / or walking tours will feel at home in this place.
Property:
Our holiday home (55m2) was built in 2016. It is attractively furnished and fully equipped. It consists of a cozy living room with an open kitchen and wood stove, a bathroom with walk-in shower, a separate toilet and three bedrooms. The house is fully equipped with a central heating system. The house can only be reached via a staircase (four steps).
At the front there is a terrace overlooking the marina of Elahuizen. On the side is an outdoor table and you have a view of both the marina and the lake. At the rear is the large terrace with a lovely lounge set and a fantastic unobstructed view over the Fluessen.
Living room:
The cottage has a cozy living room with a comfortable sitting area with wood stove, Smart TV, stereo set and a round dining table. Through the two sliding doors in the living room you have direct access to the lovely terrace right on the water.
Kitchen:
The open kitchen is part of the living room and is equipped with a dishwasher, refrigerator (without freezer), oven, Nespresso coffee machine, four-burner gas stove and kettle.
Bedrooms:
The cottage has three bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a spacious bed (160x200 cm) with a topper from Emma and closet space. The second bedroom has a French bed (140x200 cm) and the third bedroom has a bunk bed (70x200 cm) and also has closet space. The bedrooms are small but cozy. All windows in the bedrooms are equipped with mosquito nets. Kitchen linen, pillows and duvets are provided.
Bathroom:
The bathroom has a walk-in rain shower, towel radiator and a sink.
Toilet:
There is a separate toilet.
Garden:
The garden has three terraces, two of which are equipped with a lounge set. The third terrace has an outdoor dining table for 6 people.
Barn:
There is a shed on the property, in which we keep our private belongings. The barn is not accessible.
Port - berth:
A polyvalk or sloop can be rented within walking distance.
Surroundings:
The cottage is located in Elahuizen directly on the Fluessen in South-West Friesland. Here you can fully enjoy the peace, space and the varied, unique landscapes with views over the water, but also the Gaasterland forest. You will find lakes, mounds, mounds and even the cliffs, Oudemirdumer cliff, Mirnser Cliff and the Red Cliff. In addition to sailing, you can also enjoy beautiful walking and cycling in this area. There are bird watching points near the house. Less than 20 km away are numerous amenities: from golf course & culture to the traditional Frisian Eleven Cities and cozy water sports villages such as Woudsend, Balk, Heeg, Sloten, Stavoren, Hindelopen, Workum and Sneek. A wonderful place to enjoy the boats, but also to discover the beautiful Fryslân!

Parking is free in the parking lot.
De Koggeplaet:
The house is located at the Koggeplaet park. Park de Koggeplaet consists of holiday homes and a marina. The park is located directly on the Fluessen. Just outside the park is a public simple outdoor gym. The park is wonderfully quiet.
