Harlingen is bustling: not only the lively harbors and the cozy city center with the beautiful facades make Harlingen very worthwhile, but also the location directly on the Wadden Sea (UNESCO World Heritage) makes our city very special!
About the Suderhaven
And in the Suderhaven you will also stay in a very beautiful place: a striking building with a history, located on the far side of the Zuiderhaven. From the living room you look over the harbor and the brown fleet, from the windows on the side you can see the Willemshaven and the Wadden Sea. In a few steps you are in the middle of the cozy center, and in a few steps more you are on the edge of the sea, with the wind in your hair and you can taste the salty sea air. The supermarket is a few 100 meters away, the Havenmantsje (one of the fine restaurants in Harlingen) is next to us, and the boat terminal (ferries to Vlieland and Terschelling) is right behind us. An ideal place!
The holiday home
Moreover, a very nice place: the holiday home is located on the first and second floor, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the outside - in privacy - from the cushions on the wide windowsills, you relax in a comfortable living room (approx. 40 m2) with fully equipped kitchen. Everything is there to cook extensively, have breakfast, have a drink, enjoy… Of course there is also a smart TV and WiFi. Also on the same floor is the large master bedroom (approx. 28 m2) with a luxurious king-size bed with box-spring mattresses. On the top floor is the well-maintained bathroom (approx. 6 m2) with a sink and shower cabin, a washing machine and a small freezer. There is also the 2nd bedroom (approx. 10 m2) with a small double and a single bed. Behind the building is possible. another possibility to store bicycles.

Harlingen offers a lot: of course everything related to water sports, the ports, the nautical past, the brown fleet, the ferries, but also many nice shops, restaurants, beautiful streets and alleys, museums, activities and events. Consider, for example, the Tallships that will also visit Harlingen this summer: a unique event in July where many special sailing ships from all over the world will sail into Harlingen. Or the Harlingen-Terschelling race. Harlingen also has its own pottery: Harlinger Pottery and another pottery factory. There is even a beach with a cozy beach bar just outside the center!
Accessibility
Despite the fact that our building is located in the middle of the city, it is easily accessible by public transport (Harlingen Haven station is a 5-minute walk away) and by car (there are - paid - parking options in the immediate vicinity and there is a long-term parking option about 15 minutes walking distance).
