Our farm is located in the heart of Friesland, on the edge of the Frisian Woods, just outside the village of Garyp. It is an attractive scenic landscape, with the 4,000-hectare De Alde Feanen National Park just a stone's throw away. This area is characterized by peat holes, reed beds, bushes and swamp forests. It is wonderful to walk, cycle and sail here and of course enjoy nature, the birds and the tranquility.
The N31 will take you to Leeuwarden and Drachten in 15-20 minutes by car. Here you will also find a very extensive range of facilities in the field of education, shops, sports, restaurants and culture. For smaller-scale facilities, you can go to Burgum.
The holiday home in the front house consists on the ground floor of two entrances, living room, kitchen, bathroom, utility room, toilet and storage space. This includes three bedrooms on the first floor. The master bedroom has a luxurious en-suite bathroom and the smallest bedroom has a box bed. There are also built-in cupboards, a walk-in closet and a shared landing with washbasin. You can store your bicycles in the adjacent boiler house.
