Lakehouse 1

Our Lakehouse is located on the quiet holiday park the Koggeplaet in Elahuizen with a terrace on the lake de Fluessen. A unique unobstructed view over the largest lake in Friesland. The house is fully equipped and a nice place to spend your holiday. Your dog is also welcome in our house. The dog must be on a leash on our site and in the park.

The Koggeplaet is located in the middle of the water sports area of Friesland. A nice place for boating, swimming, cycling, walking. A golf course and the (dog) forest can also be found in the area. You can use our inflatable sup and a windsurfing board. Bicycles, sloops and sailboats can be rented in the area.

We only rent out our house per whole week. The arrival and departure day is Saturday. HouseThe house (50m2 surface) consists of a living room, a fully equipped open kitchen, separate toilet, bathroom with shower and three bedrooms. At the front a view of the Fluessen and the Heegermeer and at the back of the house the marina. You can only reach the house via a staircase with 4 steps. 

Living room
The house has a bright cozy living room with open kitchen. In the living room there is a corner sofa and a dining table with seating for 6 people. From the living room you have a beautiful view through the large sliding doors at the front and side. The terrace is partly covered and offers a beautiful and unobstructed view over the lakes. On the terrace is a lovely lounge set. On the side is the lower deck terrace with dining table with 6 chairs.

Kitchen
The open kitchen is fully equipped. There is a kettle, sandwich maker and a Nespresso coffee machine. There is an oven/microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator built in. The stock of herbs and olive oil can be used, but please replenish it when it runs out. Kitchen linen is provided.

Bedrooms
Bedroom 1: double bed of 160 x 200 cm with closet space and a ceiling fan.
Bedroom 2 and 3: the bedrooms are identical with closet space and a bunk bed. The lower bed is a French bed 120 x 200 cm and the upper bed is 80 x 200 cm. Single duvets and pillows are provided. The beds are made on arrival.


Bathroom
The bathroom is equipped with a shower and sink. You must bring your own towels and bath towels.

Barn
In our shed there is a washer/dryer and a freezer. There are also cushions, drying rack and paddle paddles here. For the dog there are 2 long lines with ground pin and food bowls.

The Koggeplaet
Park De Koggeplaet is a small-scale quiet park that consists of Lakehouses, chalets and a marina. The park also has a playground and a swimming beach, with a specific fenced off area for the little ones. Next to the cottage is a loading and unloading area for your car. After unloading, the car can be parked for free in the parking lot at the beginning of the park. There is also a charging station on site.

Environment
The village of Elahuizen has no shops. There is a restaurant with a terrace on the water within walking distance of our house: Eetcafé de Fluessen. The nearest supermarkets are in Balk and Woudsend, about 10 minutes by car from Elahuizen.
In the area you can enjoy the peace, space and the varied, unique landscapes with views over the water, but also walking and cycling. Near home there are bird watching points on the Zwin. Less than 20 km away are numerous amenities: from golf course & culture to the traditional Frisian Eleven Cities and cozy water sports villages such as Woudsend, Balk, Heeg, Sloten, Stavoren, Hindelopen, Workum and Sneek. A wonderful place to enjoy the boats, but also to discover the beautiful Fryslân!
