In the National Park Lauwersmeer near the Wadden Sea can be found in the Frisian village OOSTMAHORN. Hidden behind the old dike in a quiet park, our beautiful detached 4-6 person cottage with WiFi and barbecue.
A perfect location for nature and water sports enthusiasts and for those seeking peace and quiet. Lauwersmeer is just 5 minutes walk away and offers opportunities for swimming, surfing, sailing and fishing.
Lauwersmeer is a beautiful area with many walking and cycling opportunities. Oostmahorn has a marina, 2 restaurants and is the departure point by boat to the island of Schiermonnikoog and Lauwersoog. At about 3km away is the village Anjum with a few shops and a supermarket. The fortified town of Dokkum (14km) is well worth a visit. In addition to shops and restaurants you will also find several historic sites. Opportunities for excursions in the area include the seal sanctuary in Pieterburen, a ferry crossing to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland, mudflat hiking and visiting the cities of Leeuwarden and Groningen.De house stands on a large plot and has a covered terrace and barbecue outside to enjoy long evenings.
On the ground floor there is one bedroom with two single beds + TV, near the bathroom shower and toilet.
On the upper floor there are two bedrooms (a total of 3 bedrooms), with an adjustable doublebed and sink w / cold water, the second bedroom with two single beds and sink w / k water.De kitchen is equipped with all conveniences, including a dishwasher and microwave oven.
Present is a high chair, playpen, crib, washer and dryer.
The park has a playground.

Welcome to the site. We are the Smeding family. Grandpa Smeding comes from Friesland. We are now all attached to this beautiful region. The holiday home has been in the family's possession since 1991 and since then we have been able to offer many people a wonderful holiday. It is a light, fresh, clean and fully furnished house with a cozy covered terrace and a lovely spacious garden with barbecue/fireplace.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The rental period starts (check-in) at 3:00 PM on the day of the rental agreement and ends (check-out) at 10:00 AM on the last day of the agreement. All prices include FREE WIFI and final cleaning. Arrival on another day, possibly in consultation.
