Recreation and relaxation in luxury country house 'Sundowners' in Drenthe (Schoonloo)

Sleep in in the comfortable box-spring bed, wake up to the singing of birds and have a nice breakfast on our sunny terrace with eggs from the farmer in the neighborhood: welcome to our holiday home! Quietly located in a small village between the various forestry and with all necessary amenities nearby. Here you can enjoy the ultimate and experience the real hospitality of Drenthe!

Our country house is located in a rural location in the Drentsche Aa National Park and is therefore the ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. It is located in a small, quiet, non-commercial bungalow park. At the park you can rent (electric) bicycles for a fee. You can also go horseback riding in this area. In addition to the beautiful nature, the central location between the cities of Assen and Emmen offers plenty of opportunities for cultural trips. There are also plenty of fun activities for children in the area, from swimming lakes to amusement and climbing parks. In short, you won't get bored in this environment!

Our holiday home is located on approximately 600 m2 of private land, so you will experience complete privacy. The large garden around the house offers plenty of play opportunities for young and old, as well as the playground that is in front of the door. From morning to evening, the garden is in the sun, so you can enjoy it to the fullest at any time of the day! On our terrace you can enjoy breakfast in the morning sun and by the evening it is the perfect place for 'sundowners' (drinks time). We have decorated the country house with great care and attention and hope that you will have as nice a stay there as we do!

The living room offers seating space for 6 people and has patio doors to the terrace. The terrace has an electric awning so you can also sit in the shade if desired. The kitchen is equipped with a combination microwave, induction hob, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, sandwich maker, hand blender, electric juicer and a complete inventory for 6 people.

With 3 bedrooms, this spacious house is suitable for 6 adults or a family with children.  There is a stair gate (on the landing), children's toys, children's table with 4 chairs, high chair, children's crockery and cutlery and a baby/toddler pool and potty. For the adults , magazines, books, DVDs and board games are available for the necessary relaxation. For those who still need to open the laptop, there is a desk with chair and a good WIFI connection in the master bedroom.

In the utility room there is a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and extra fridge-freezer.
There is also a drying rack. The driveway next to the house has space for 2 cars. Are you coming with several cars? No problem, there are also free parking spaces around the corner from the reception. To keep in mind: we do not yet have a charging station for electric cars.
