Sleep in in a comfortable box-spring bed, wake up to the singing of birds and have an extensive breakfast on the sunny terrace. Welcome to Sundowners country house! This bright, family-friendly holiday home of 105 m² is located on Bungalow Park Boerhaarsveld in Schoonloo, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Drenthe.
With three bedrooms, a spacious garden of 610 m² and a playground right outside the door, Sundowners is a wonderful place for families, couples and anyone who wants to enjoy peace, space and nature.
The holiday home
The bright living room has a comfortable sitting area for six people, a spacious dining table and patio doors to the terrace. The open kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, combi microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and complete kitchen inventory.
In the utility room you will find a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and an extra fridge-freezer.
On the first floor there are three bedrooms: two with a comfortable double box-spring bed (160 cm × 200 cm) and one with two single beds (90 cm × 200 cm). The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
The youngest guests have also been thought of. There is a stair gate, high chair, children's crockery, toys, paddling pool and potty. In addition, books and board games are available. The master bedroom has a desk with chair and fast wifi is available in the house.
Enjoying the garden
The country house stands on a spacious plot of 610 m² and offers plenty of privacy. The sunny garden is a wonderful place to relax, while children have plenty of space to play.
On the terrace there is a lounge set and sun loungers. Thanks to the electric awning, you can also seek shade on hot days. Start the day with breakfast in the morning sun and end it with a sunset drink – exactly where the name Sundowners comes from!
There is space for two cars in the private driveway. Additional free parking spaces can be found at the reception.
Nature and environment
Wake up to the sound of birds and the fresh forest air. Sundowners is located in a small-scale, quiet bungalow park, surrounded by forests, heathland and vast fields. In the middle of the park you will find a playground and a small animal meadow with two curious goats – always fun for children!
From the holiday home you can walk or cycle directly into nature. Discover the winding paths, streams, vast moors and ancient dolmens. The Drentsche Aa National Park and the surrounding nature reserves offer plenty of opportunities to spot birds, deer and other animals.
Drenthe is known for its extensive network of walking and cycling routes, picturesque villages and atmospheric markets. You can rent bicycles, including e-bikes, at the reception.
There is also plenty to do for a day out. The cities of Assen and Emmen are a short distance away and in the area you will find swimming lakes, amusement parks and climbing parks.
Whether you are looking for peace and relaxation, an active holiday in nature or pleasant trips with the family: Sundowners offers a wonderful base.
