We are the proud owners of this little paradise. The house is located on the Witteveen in Ruinen, Drenthe.
The house is good for 6 to 7 people, there are 9 sleeping places. With more than 6 adults it may be a bit tight, but this is of course possible.
For the children, the large garden is a great playground with various play equipment and a go-kart in the barn. There are various sizes of recreational bicycles to use, at your own risk. Washing machine, dryer and dishwasher are also available. We have 1 bathroom and 1 toilet downstairs and 1 bathroom and 1 toilet upstairs.
From the house you can walk straight into the forest and onto the Dwingelerveld. There are many nice walking and cycling routes through the woods. You can walk to the nature center of natural monuments, here are fun challenges for the children. The sheepfold can also be reached on foot, with the lambs in the spring and a beautiful watchtower. The routes are beautiful and very peaceful. It is also wonderful to walk here with the dog. In the summer a nice place to cool off under the trees, and warm up with the cold by the gas heater. (there is also a central heating of course :))
