Welcome to our cozy nature house, beautifully situated in the Norgerbos and the Langeloërduinen. Within walking distance you will find the cozy center of Norg. Here you can enjoy peace, nature and comfort.
Location
The chalet is located on the edge of a small-scale forest park and you can walk directly from the chalet into the forest. From here you can take various walks and bike rides. Next to the chalet is a shed to store bicycles. On the grounds in front of the chalet is a spacious private parking space with charging station.
Fully equipped
It is wonderful to stay inside. The cozy living room has a nice sofa where you can read or watch TV. On the veranda you will find 2 comfortable lounge chairs for a relaxing afternoon. Thanks to the covered terrace, you can always sit dry and close to nature outside. Between the trees you will also find a nice place to relax in the hammock. There are always birds to be seen in the forest garden and the squirrels also come by regularly.
The chalet has recently been refurbished and furnished with care. Fully equipped:

Nature & environment
The area around Norg is known for its beautiful, varied nature. Directly from the cottage you walk along quiet sandy paths, through primeval forest and heaths. There are numerous cycling routes, including the one through the Noordsche Veld where you can encounter Scottish Highlanders.
Water lovers are also in the right place here: the Leekstermeer, Paterswoldsemeer and Zuidlaardermeer are about 20 km away and offer opportunities for sailing or renting whisper boats.
In the village of Norg – within walking distance – you will find supermarkets, bicycle rental, cozy restaurants and authentic Drenthe farms. Assen and Groningen are also easily accessible (20–25 minutes by car).
We recommend a visit to Veenhuizen, 5 km away and recently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will find the Prison Museum, brewery Maallust and the beautiful nature reserve Fochteloërveen, where with a bit of luck you can spot the special crane.
