Our guesthouse is located on the edge of the rural Drenthe village of Exloo.
It is surrounded by beautiful and extensive nature reserves and is located in the middle of the Drenthe Hondsrug. It is ideal for cycling, walking, swimming or golfing from here. In short; plenty of space and options to enjoy a relaxing holiday with us.
Next to our farmhouse there is a former barn that houses our guesthouse. It is comfortably and attractively furnished and is suitable for 2 people.
The guesthouse consists of a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with 2 recliners, a bedroom with two single spring box beds and a complete bathroom. The guesthouse has central heating and is equipped with radio, digital TV and WiFi. In addition, all bed, bath and linen are provided.
Smoking in the guesthouse and pets are not allowed.
Our original Drenthe farmyard has its own private garden with a terrace for guests. There you can enjoy a wide view, beautiful skies during the setting sun and you can also see our sheep and ponies walking in the meadow. The barn is also a popular breeding ground for barn swallows. In the summer there are about 400. They provide a lot of extra cheerful liveliness. Hence the name: 't Zwaluwennest". Your bicycles can be placed in the shed and, if necessary, charged electrically. If desired, you can also rent a ladies' and a men's bicycle from us or arrange for the rental of electric bicycles.
