Nature house “het Bosryck” is located on Landgoed 't Wildryck in the Drents Friese Wold National Park and near the Dwingelderveld National Park. This is of course very special. It is the dream for the perfect cycling, mountain biking or walking holiday with your family, partner or friends. The nature reserve has many cycling and walking paths (paved and unpaved) and from "het Bosryck" these start from your garden. Within a few minutes you are in the middle of the moors with lakes, fens and swamps.

During the day you can hear all the birds in orchestra and you can see rabbits, squirrels and sometimes a deer in the garden. We have binoculars and a book about bird watching in “het Bosryck”. Fun for young and old. “het Bosryck” is a great place in the middle of nature and within cycling distance of nice villages such as Dwingeloo, Diever, Appelscha, Ruinen and Frederiksoord. The environment invites you to relax or to go out.

We have been living in Meppel with great pleasure for some time now. We discovered Drenthe as a beautiful and versatile province with the Drents Friese Wold and Dwingelderveld National Parks. Weerribben/Wieden National Park is also nearby.

We feel “privileged” to live in this environment.
It is nice if others can also enjoy this beautiful place.

We hope that a visit to Het Bosryck will be a reason to come back to Drenthe.

Impression of the pure natural environment. This area is beautiful in all 4 seasons! In the spring when nature is blooming and everything slowly turns green, you realize how special nature is. In summer, when the forest cools down, you can relax under the canopy. In the fall, when you can smell autumn in the air in the morning, the first dew is visible and the sun appears low through the trees, then you want to be in the forest! With colored leaves above you and crackling leaves below you. Or during the winter months, when you crawl by the wood stove after a fresh walk in the woods. Our cottage in the woods is wonderful in any season.
