Casa Millestelle is a beautiful house in a great location in the heart of Italy.
The house is located in Umbria, overlooking Tuscany, among olive trees and vineyards.
Our guests have given us a very high rating. We couldn't wish for better ambassadors.
In the vicinity of our house you will find everything that makes Italy so special: culture, nature and culinary highlights.
Umbria is known for its many beautiful old towns and villages.

Casa Millestelle is located between the beautiful wine regions of Montalcino (Brunello), Montepulciano, Orvieto and Montefalco (Sagrantino).
Day trips to Rome and Florence are easy to do.

Perhaps unnecessarily, we report that the cleaning costs, which must be paid on site, are also a contribution to all other costs such as linen package, washing and ironing, bed making. etc.

Additional information

The house, location, materials used, the complete and attractive (modern) equipment gives you an immediate "home" feeling.

Because the house is built against a hill there are two levels.
The living room, kitchen and bedroom are on the lowest level.
The 2 other bedrooms and the bathrooms are 5 steps higher.

Given the location own transport is essential.

The house is now (2015) five years in operation and the reactions are overwhelming (see guestbook / reviews; gem.> 9).

We appreciate, in a personal interview, to explain what you can expect.

We will do everything to give you enough information to provide the necessities, details, events, entertainment and culture.
RESERVATION AND PAYMENT CONDITIONS: A deposit of 30% of the rent is due within 7 days after our confirmation of your request. With our confirmation you will receive the number of the bank account into which this deposit can be paid. The remainder of the rent must be received by us no later than 60 days before the start of the rental period. YOUR BOOKING IS FINAL ONLY AFTER RECEIVING THE DEPOSIT. CANCELLATION CONDITIONS: In case of cancellation up to 90 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 30% of the rent, being the down payment. In case of cancellation between 90 and 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay 60% of the rental amount. In the event of cancellation less than 60 days before the start of the rental period, the tenant is obliged to pay the full rental amount. YOU ARE ADVISED TO TAKE A CANCELLATION INSURANCE LIABILITY: The tenant is responsible for proper treatment of the rented property and is considered liable for any damage caused by the tenant and/or fellow travelers during his/her/their stay. The tenant is obliged to leave the house in a neat condition.

The countertop is 5 meters in L-shape

The dining table with comfortable dining room chairs is located next to the patio doors to the sun terrace
Our house is traditionally built. The outer walls are of stone and terracotta floors. The thick walls (50cm) isolate in summer and winter. The high ceilings (3 to 4 m) are made of traditional chestnut beams interspersed with terracotta tiles. (See photo) The height in the summer also makes sure that the home less warm.

Throughout the house is heating (if at all necessary) and a wood stove.

The decor is modern and fully equipped.

Because we are very much "of cooking and eating", we gave this a special attention.

The total area of the house is > 140m2 (ex. terrace). In de cellar you can keep youre wines cool.

A specialty is the covered terrace of over 30m2. This terrace faces west and there is a fireplace and a barbecue. Endless enjoyment of the setting sun terrace makes this special.

A great place for long diners.
There are 3 bedrooms respectively. 13m2, 15m2 and 17m2.
These rooms are 3 to 4 feet high which, especially in summer, promotes sleep.
The floors are of terracotta (incl. heating)

In the "big" bedroom has a double bed (180x200).
In the other two rooms have 2 single beds 200x90.
All three bedrooms have built-in wardrobe of> 2m wide.

There are plenty of bedding and extra pillows.

The main bedroom is adjacent to the terrace with doors (for a great start to the day).

For windows there is mosquito netting.

The, located in the main bedroom, a bathroom can be used as an en-suite to allow more privacy arises.
The house has 2 modern bathrooms with shower, toilet and bidet. There is a hairdryer in each bathroom.
The living room is modern and comfortable.
There are two (large) settees and two armchairs.
There is TV and audio / DVD.
From the lounge you have stunning views of the old castletown of Piegaro.
Two doors lead you to the lovely terrace.
The house is the private pool (4 x 8 meters).
The shower is a so-called solar shower which hot water is obtained.
About the pool is a "thermal cover". Herewith it is the water temperature is significantly increased.
There is a large terrace with sun loungers and parasol.

From the pool you have a beautiful view of the surrounding villages.
Piegaro is located in the northwest of Umbria between the A1 and Perugia, just south of Lake Trasimeno.

The house is located about 3 km outside the village. It is located on a hill at an altitude of about 500 meters and is easily accessible. However, one does need transportation for daily shopping (uphill is quite a climb).

In Piegaro there is a pharmacy, a bakery, a butcher, a greengrocer, a grocer and of course there are bars for a café.

There are many (larger) supermarkets available in the villages in the area (max. 10 minutes).

In the basement you will find a second refrigerator, a tumble dryer (for when the weather lets you down), gardening and other tools.

Of course, the cellar is ideal for keeping drinks and food cool in the summer
Starting with our own swimming pool of 4 x 8 meters and 1.40 deep. Straight from your terrace into the water. Bring on the prosecco.

Acuapark Tavernelle (Umbria).
Is a swimsuit and is located ±5 km from our house. Here are a number of swimming pools with slides, sun terraces and playing fields (

Lake Trasimeno.
There are several restaurants along this lake with playing and sunbathing areas. The lake is ideal for water sports.

The Mediterranean Sea can be reached both east and west in ±2 hours' drive. A day at the beach is therefore possible.
From the garden you immediately walk into the great outdoors for a short or long walk. There are also many walking routes in the area (with or without guidance).

-Golf enthusiasts can go to Perugia, 18 holes at 20 km.

From Florence to Rome, the area has a lot to offer. 20% of the UNESCO cultural heritage is located within a radius of 150 km around our house. You will also find documentation about this in our house.

In Perugia (30 minutes) people come from all over the world to study Italian for the short or longer term. A month in Piegaro perhaps?

There are many restaurants in the area, from simple to luxurious. Nearby you will also find the world famous vegetarian restaurant "Montali".

If you would rather enjoy Italian cuisine at home, a chef can be provided.
