The villa is ideally located to visit Umbria, southern Tuscany, Rome and northern Lazio. From the property you can reach the Rome-Florence motorway in about 25 minutes by car. Orvieto train station is 25 Km away, from Orvieto you can reach Rome and Florence by train in about an hour and a half. The villa is located 500m from the charming village of Montecchio in a hilly position, from the garden you can enjoy the beautiful panorama over the valley of Tevere and the village of Montecchio itself. It has a garden with swimming pool, all for the tenant's private use. There are also 4 bicycles and a table football available. The house is suitable for a maximum of 8 people. The ground floor consists of: covered terrace, living room, dining room with table and chairs for 6, kitchen with table and chairs for 6, bedroom with double bed, bathroom. On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other with 2 single beds, both with air conditioning), 2 bathrooms, living room with sofa. An extra bed can be placed in both bedrooms on the 1st floor. Baby bed and highchair available on request. The covered terrace (overlooking the village) has a table and chairs for outdoor dining. There are 2 barbecues available for cooking (wood and charcoal). In the village of Montecchio (500 meters from the villa) there are the following shops: bar, bakery, butcher, supermarket, grocery, pharmacy. There is a large supermarket on the way to the house next to the motorway exit at Orvieto (after the exit you turn right, at the first roundabout you will see the Coop on the right side of the road), open every day from 8:00 am: 30 to 20:30 and on Sundays from 9 to 20. Recommended restaurants La Perla and Kilometro 0 (in the center of the village), Sala della Comitessa (Baschi, 11 kms), Casa Vissani (Baschi, 11 kms...but very expensive), Il fontanile (7 km).
