The farmhouse is located 16 km south of Todi, 70 km from Perugia (airport), 110 km north of Rome and 4 km from village. It is a very quiet location and guarantees 100% privacy, as there are no other buildings nearby.
The whole property is for your private/exclusive use (not shared with other holidaymakers or owner).
The country house has more than 100 years of history within its walls, the 420 square meter country house has been carefully restored in an elegant and tasteful way.
On the property are the main house (7 bedrooms, living/dining rooms, semi-professional kitchen, 80 square meters of veranda for outdoor dining), the tower (2 bedrooms, kitchen, dining/living room), a swimming pool of 13 by 5 meters, barbecue and stone by the pool, hall for events 20 meters from the pool.
Renovated with antique furniture made by the craftsmen of Todi, the large stone walls of about 80 cm ensure that the rooms are never too hot (we only recommend not to keep the windows open during the day, fans are available). The large veranda of the main house is equipped with tables and chairs for outdoor dining for 25 people. The large living room has 16 seats and the dining area has two oval tables (each for 12 people). On request it is possible to have a cook and maid service.
The accommodation can accommodate up to 25 adults + babies. It sleeps 19 (9 bedrooms) and sleeps 6 for sofa beds. Two baby cots and high chairs are also available.
The main house and the tower both have a bedroom/bathroom which is suitable for wheelchair users. The pool is 13 by 5 meters + Roman steps, the depth varies from 1.20 to 1.80 meters.
Restaurant/Pizzeria and supermarket 1 km away, there are more supermarkets, shops and restaurants 5 km away. Large supermarkets (also open on Sundays) are available at 20 km in the town of Terni.
It is possible to buy olive oil and wine directly from the owner. Weekly open market on Mondays (in the center of the village of Montecastrilli). The motorway exit is 12 km away. 3 km away it is possible to visit an extremely rare example of fossil forest.
