The property is a prestigious country house immersed in the green of the Umbrian country, 90 km north of Rome. Dating back to the 1800s, it was renovated in 2015-2018 adding modern conveniences. It is completely surrounded by a large garden full of centuries-old trees and flowers. From every corner of the property the panoramic views are amazing. On the east side you have a wide panorama over the landscape, while on the western side you have a panoramic view of the old center of Amelia.
The 500 square meter country house has been carefully restored in an elegant and tasteful manner. Warm pastel colours, natural beams, local terracotta and stones are combined with modern air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The decor is well contextualized with the historicity of the villa. most ceilings have well-maintained frescoes. There is also a private swimming pool of 14 by 5 meters (the depth is 1.60 meters everywhere). The swimming pool is furnished with a gazebo and 9 comfortable sun beds. A barbecue area in the shade of a lime tree is available for cooking. This accommodation is also an excellent choice if you need to organize an event (other services are available on request: cooking/cooking classes, transfers, cleaning service, etc.). The house is suitable for 12 people and has 6 bedrooms, all with en-suite bathrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning.
The entrance to the villa consists of a large living room with a solid wooden table. Two doors, one on the east and one on the west, give this room a truly evocative light. To the right of the entrance there is a beautiful dining room with a table for 12 people. In addition, a well-equipped kitchen (gas with 5 burners, toaster, oven, microwave, juicer, refrigerator with ice maker, Nepresso) with fireplace and extra table for 8 people. To the left of the entrance there is a cozy living room with piano (only suitable for experienced people) and a living room with two sofas and a fireplace. On the same floor you will find a bathroom with shower that can be used by all guests and the first suite with a double bed (on request it is possible to have twin beds) and a private bathroom with shower. There is also a toilet near the stairs to the first floor. An imposing and prestigious marble staircase leads to the first floor where we found a large living room with sofas for 9 people and 2 armchairs. This living room is tastefully decorated. On the same floor there are suites, all with anteroom, bathroom and bedroom. One has two single beds and an en suite bathroom with shower and bath. From the window you can enjoy a panoramic view of the historic center of Amelia. Another suite has an anteroom with a double sofa bed, a bathroom with bath and shower, a bedroom with a double bed. The third suite has an anteroom with a living room ideal for relaxing in complete privacy, a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a double bed. The last suite has an anteroom with a desk for those who need to work during their stay and a sofa for two people, a bathroom with bath and shower, a bedroom with a double bed. Wide and suggestive view of the garden and the landscape. On the second floor there is a bedroom with 2 single beds and an e-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Baby cots and high chair available on request.
Outside there is a table for 6 people and two benches where you can relax or have a drink. A table tennis table is also available. Country house, garden and swimming pool are for private/exclusive use of the tenant.
The property is 7 km from the medieval city of Amelia and 90 km from Rome. The nearest supermarket, bakery, pharmacy and bar are available 3 km in the village of Fornole. In the town of Amelia there are several supermarkets (COOP, Super Conti, Eurospin… also open on Sundays), butchers, bakers, fruit and vegetables and bars. Almost all types of shops are available in Amelia, open market on Tuesday morning outside the old town and Saturday morning in the old town next to S.Francesco Church.
