Da Nonna

The terrain on which 'da nonna' is located is known as 'al settimo cielo' (in the 7th heaven). The site has no neighbors. Except for the sounds of nature, absolute peace and quiet. 'Da nonna', which derives its name from the fact that the very old mother of the previous owner lived here, is part of the casetta degli angeli (angel's house), where angels watch over your well-being. The cottage is located in a natural park of 2ha.
In the casetta degli angeli is another apartment/gite, Vista sul mare. For a larger group (max. 8-10 people) it can be interesting to rent both apartments. If you wish, please contact us or view the 'Casetta degli angeli'.

Since the spring of 2017 you can cool off in the new 'biolaghetto', a large swimming pond with a separate children's pool. A dip in this pond is a blessing for the skin. Neither chlorine nor salt is involved. The water is purified with plants planted in a separate area. So you don't have to worry about aquatic plants between the toes.

The interior design of the gites has paid attention to detail: a mix of modern and vintage furniture. There is some art on the walls; Also in the park, which is at your disposal except for a small part, you will find numerous art objects.
There is a wood burning stove next to central heating. In the kitchen there is plenty of crockery and cutlery, well-cutting knives, functioning pepper mill, garlic press, etc. We have tried to avoid all the annoyance about houses that we have ever rented ourselves. You can safely leave your box with frying pans, knives, etc. at home and perform your culinary delights here.
The bedrooms are equipped with single beds, which can be pushed together at will. Of course, there are plenty of duvets and bed linen (1 set per person per week, assuming an occupancy with two people). The same applies to towels: a set of 2 towels of a good size per person per week. You will have to bring a beach towel.
If you want to stay in 'da nonna' with more than two people, you pay 30€ p.p. extra for the bed linen and bath linen.
The bathrooms are simple, but functional. Everything you need is in it: shower, sink, bidet, toilet.
There is plenty of garden furniture, which you can put anywhere. However, we do ask you to handle it carefully.
You can stay here and take care of yourself, but if you want we can bake bread for you. You can also join us twice a week at the table d'hôte for a 4-course dinner with heavenly dishes and wine (25€ p.p.).
As we also organize creative and culinary courses al settimo cielo, we can organize a cooking workshop for you. We would like to hear this a week or two before arrival. If you want to decorate felt or ceramics for part of the day, let us know at the beginning of your stay. We can also make creative material available. We can even arrange a teacher for you. We need to know that a month or two before arrival. The rate depends on what exactly we agree with each other.

'Da nonna' is a perfect place for couples who want to put their relationship back in the spotlight. After all, it sometimes threatens to be suppressed in the hectic everyday life.

Peace seekers, who want nothing more than 'dolce far niente' (blissful doing nothing) will also find their way here, as well as nature lovers. If you are a musician and want to study a piece in peace with a small group, then this is the place for you. No neighbors who will complain about false notes or not. If you want to have the peace and quiet to write a book or piece of music, it is also the place 2 be. Visual artists can be inspired by nature, peace and space.
