The property is located just outside the small village of Sillicano, 8 km from Castelnuovo di Garfagnana. It was restored in the years 2013-2015 with great taste, without changing the old style of the house. In the (fully fenced) garden is a swimming pool of 8.5x3.5 meters.
Between the house and the pool there are two terraces (one of which is covered) for outdoor dining. The entire property is for the private use of the tenant and can accommodate up to 14 people (6 bedrooms - 5/6 bathrooms).
On the ground floor there is a kitchen, dining room with a table for 12 people, living room with seating for six people and a table for four people, and a bathroom.
On the first floor there is a second living room with seating for five people, two bedrooms with a double bed and two bathrooms. One of the two bedrooms has a passage with a cot (max. 180 cm).
On the second floor there is a bedroom with two single beds (an extra bed can be added here) with en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with a double bed with en-suite bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds and a bedroom with a double bed. The latter two share the third bathroom on this floor. A wooden staircase leads up to the beautiful roof terrace with panoramic views.
In the village of Sillicano (500 meters away) there is a supermarket, where you can also buy bread and vegetables/fruit. In Castelnuovo di Garfagnana you will find a supermarket, bars, restaurants and other shops.
Public parking is available 200 metres from the property, you can drive up to the house to load and unload your luggage.
The property is an excellent destination for a relaxing holiday and visiting the Garfagnana with its charming villages, beautiful car routes, hiking tours (we recommend in the Orecchiella Natural Park) and other outdoor activities. It is also a good starting point for visiting Pisa, Lucca and for a day at the sea (the Versilia Riviera is 60 km away). The main nearby town is Castelnuovo di Garfagnana (9 km) and offers many restaurants, cafes, bars, shops, supermarkets and a weekly market on Thursdays.
