Lovely holiday home, newly built in 2007, according to traditional Tuscan tradition. Since 2019 there is a spacious new private swimming pool of no less than 12 meters long and 4 meters wide.
Casa Baroti stands on its own grounds of approximately 3500 m2, surrounded by olive trees. The house is located on the edge of a large nature reserve with, among other things, deer and wild boar, and you can also enjoy walking here.
On the ground floor there is a spacious living room, a dining kitchen, utility room, bedroom and bathroom. On the first floor you will find 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a studio with extra kitchen and sofa bed. All doors and windows are fitted with mosquito nets.
Casa Baroti is a wonderful house to stay in, comfortably furnished and fully equipped. Because the house is located at an altitude of 650 meters, there is also a beautiful view of the valley from a covered terrace. This higher location ensures a lot of light and sun, and also that the temperatures at night go back to values between 17 and 20 degrees. This area is almost without light pollution, the starry sky and milky way are beautiful, and if you visit Casa Baroti in June-July to early August, you can see fireflies.
Casa Baroti is surrounded by peace and space in a beautiful hilly hiking area. You can start a walk from the terrace, which is a good start to the day. Then have breakfast on the terrace or enjoy a dip in the spacious swimming pool, that is the real holiday feeling!
The major tourist attractions are easily accessible. Firenze (Florence) and Siena are both just over 1.5 hours away. But also in the immediate vicinity there are numerous destinations that are enchanting and well preserved, moreover, these places are inhabited by their own population and are absolutely not touristy. It is precisely in these places that you experience the real Italy. The medieval town of Anghiari, for example, is such a pearl from the immediate vicinity.
Caprese Michelangelo has 1500 inhabitants and is famous for its cuisine. This region is known for its truffle and mushrooms. The town of Caprese Michelangelo has many restaurants that are also well used by Italians from the wider area, information about this is widely available in the house, as is tourist information about Tuscany and Umbria.
This is just one short description of one beautiful area that is generously endorsed by almost all guests in their reviews.
It only remains for me to say: come and convince yourself,
warm regards, Ans
