Our attractive and comfortable holiday apartment for up to 4 people is located in the quiet village of Valmaggia, in the middle of the beautiful Valsesia Valley in northern Italy. Here you can enjoy peace, space and a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains, while all the highlights of the region are within easy reach.

Apartment Stella – Comfort and atmosphere with mountain view
Apartment Stella is a stylish holiday apartment of 62 m², which was completely renovated by us in 2022. We have paid a lot of attention to comfort, atmosphere and details, so that our guests feel right at home.
Through your own entrance you enter a cozy, bright living and dining area. Through the large panoramic window you can enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. The comfortable sitting area, cozy wood stove and warm décor make the apartment a wonderful place to relax after an active day.
The fully equipped kitchen has a Smeg 5-burner gas stove, oven, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge freezer and Nespresso coffee machine.
There are two comfortable bedrooms with high-quality box-spring beds and ceiling fans. The spacious bathroom has a lovely rain shower, double sink, toilet, bidet and hair dryer.
Outside you will find a private terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, where you can enjoy the views, the fresh mountain air and the tranquility of Valsesia.

Winter sports in Italy – Two beautiful ski resorts nearby
Do you want to ski in Italy, but prefer not to stay in a busy and massive winter sports resort? Then Valsesia is a fantastic destination!
From Apartment Stella you can reach two beautiful ski areas: the cozy Alpe di Mera and the impressive Monterosa Ski near Alagna Valsesia.
Alpe di Mera, cozy and relaxed skiing only 15 minutes away
Via Scopello you reach Alpe di Mera, a sunny and manageable ski area at an altitude of about 1,500 to 1,700 meters. It is loved by families, beginners and recreational skiers. You will find fine slopes, atmospheric mountain huts and a beautiful view of the Monte Rosa massif.
New for winter 2026/2027: the Scopello–Alpe di Mera gondola lift! The new connection with closed cabins is scheduled for the end of December 2026 and will take visitors up from Scopello in about 8 minutes. Even outside the winter, Alpe di Mera is a beautiful destination for nature lovers and hikers.
Alagna Valsesia – Skiing in the impressive Monterosa Ski
About a 35-minute drive from Apartment Stella is Alagna Valsesia, an authentic mountain village at the foot of Monte Rosa.
Alagna, together with Gressoney and Champoluc, forms the impressive Monterosa Ski ski area, one of the most beautiful winter sports areas in the Italian Alps.
Here you will find long runs, modern ski lifts, beautiful panoramic views and challenging slopes for experienced skiers and snowboarders.
The area is internationally popular with freeriders because of its spectacular off-piste opportunities. But recreational skiers can also fully enjoy the extensive slopes and impressive mountain world.
Alagna itself is also definitely worth a visit. The village is known for its traditional Walser houses, charming streets, cozy restaurants and authentic mountain atmosphere.
Summer holidays in Valsesia – hiking, nature and adventure
In summer, Valsesia turns into a green mountain paradise with forests, mountain meadows, waterfalls and clear streams. You can hike on quiet paths, make challenging mountain tours, mountain bike or visit picturesque villages. Discover for example Val Vogna, Val Mastallone and the surroundings of Alagna. Just a 5-minute drive from Apartment Stella is the historic town of Varallo Sesia. Varallo has a beautiful old center with narrow streets, colorful buildings, cozy squares, restaurants, cafes and small shops.
Settle down on a terrace for a delicious Italian cappuccino, enjoy a gelato or discover the local specialties of Piedmont.
One of the most famous sights is the Sacro Monte di Varallo, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This special complex of historic chapels is located on a hill above the city and offers an impressive history as well as a magnificent view of Varallo and the valley.
