Cabin Nel Bosco is a unique place in the mountains of Piedmont, for people looking for peace and quiet, far away from the hustle and bustle. It is an oasis of nature, space and privacy. The cabin is located in the Val Mastallone, in the north of Piedmont above the village of Cravagliana. The area is ideal for beautiful walks, mushroom hunting and wildlife spotting.
The hiking trails start near the cabin. A hiking map of the area is available in the cabin.
You reach the cabin via a paved road, where you park your car. From here you walk down a forest path about 40 meters (± 2 minutes) and you will reach Cabin Nel Bosco.
Nel Bosco is suitable for 2 people and fully equipped. The cabin has recently (2023) been completely restored.
The cozy living area and raised bed, surrounded by windows, provide a great way to enjoy the views of the stars and the beautiful surroundings.
The equipped kitchen with cooking facilities and refrigerator offers the possibility of self-catering, which is great for people who enjoy self-sufficiency and want to enjoy meals amidst the natural beauty.
The modern bathroom adds a unique touch to the overall experience of the cabin. The presence of a toilet, sink with mirror and rain shower ensures comfort and convenience.
The cozy wood stove is perfect for the cooler days, where you can warm up and experience cozy moments, while enjoying the beautiful landscape. Firewood is available in abundance for you.
Solar panels are used to generate electricity, which fits in with the sustainable and environmentally conscious approach. You can enjoy modern comforts while respecting the environment.
The terrace is an ideal place to relax, barbecue and enjoy the beautiful views, in all seasons.
On the wooden terrace there is a bathtub (with hot and cold water) from which you have a fantastic view over the valley.
There is no Wi-Fi, but the internet connection on your mobile (4G network) works fine.
A 15-minute drive will take you to Varallo, a charming town with nice streets, restaurant and shops. Also here you will find all amenities supermarket, butcher ect.

Our adventure started in 2018, we bought a house in Italy and fell in love with the place. Every holiday we left for our house to do odd jobs and it became more and more difficult to go back to NL.

In case of cancellation more than 12 weeks before the start of your stay, 50% of the deposit will be returned.
In case of cancellation within the period of 12 weeks, no refund will be made.
We therefore recommend that you take out cancellation insurance.
