Approx. 1200 km from Utrecht. The house has a beautiful view of the Ligurian Alps, is located about 54 kilometers from famous Italian ski resorts (Frabosa Soprana) and 40 minutes by car from the Mediterranean. The wine town of Barolo 32 km away.

The typical Italian village of Torresina is situated at an altitude of 700 meters in the middle of a sea of wine hills. Our holiday home is located on the edge of this authentic village. There is a post office, a town hall, two churches, including the 7th century chapel Saint George. The few villagers still work on the land. Time stands still here and you can enjoy peace, simplicity and a personal introduction to the romance of rural farm life.

Live like the Italians and enjoy life. With family, friends at a long table, taste the Piemontese dishes and drink the world famous wines (including Barolo) from this region.

At the markets you will find the tastiest cheeses, salami. Farmers sell organically grown vegetables, taste the taste of the homegrown tomatoes, courgettes. In the restaurants, the food and ingredients are often homemade. Slow food is a way of life here.

Benvenuto in La Langhe! La Langhe is an area in the south of Piemonte and lies at the foot of the mountains. The wide river Tanaro separates the hilly areas, where friendly villages adorn the low hills covered with vineyards and oak forests. In clear weather, the view extends to the snowy peaks of the Alps. The noble families, who over the centuries mastered the wine hills, displayed their wealth in the form of beautiful castles, monasteries and churches.

Situated on the coast in the province of Liguria

Cinque Terre literally means'' five countries''. It consists of five small towns in the rocks of the coast, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. You can be hard to come by car, you often do on steep roads. The five pictures are connected with a railway and a footpath along the coastal rocks. If you go through the path you have a magnificent view over the sea. The path between Riomaggiore and Manarola is called Via d'Amore,'' path of love''.

Famous are the baroque buildings of Turin, including Palazzo Reale, Palazzo Madama and the church of San Lorenzo. The suburb is Stupinigi the pleasure palace Palazzo di Caccia. In the late Renaissance was the Sacro Monte (sacred mountain) of Varallo. From the Middle Ages are still Staffarda Abbey and the Castle of Manta preserved, as is the Romanesque-style monastery on an island of San Giulio in Lake Orta. In the Lago Maggiore are the biggest attraction of the Borromean Islands and especially the baroque palace island of Isola Bella.
