This charming and rustic holiday home (4 persons) dates from 1884 and is located in the mountains near Susa in a rural area.
Via a narrow, paved mountain road you enter the small Italian, inhabited village (5 houses). There is sufficient parking space available for each house. The house has been renovated in recent years and equipped with a living room, a loft, a bedroom, a dining kitchen, a bathroom and a separate shower downstairs. There is a double bed in both the bedroom and the loft. In the living room we have an extra double sofa bed, if necessary.
It is very quietly situated on the edge of a tiny hamlet with completely unobstructed views over the valley and the surrounding mountains. Around the house you will find 3 terraces on the south/west. A fantastic place for hiking, cycling and mountain biking (Colle delle Finestre, Strada dell' Assietta and many more. The famous Partisan trail runs past the house. The GTA track Ceresole Reale - Susa runs past the hamlet to the top of the oldest Pilgrim's mountain de Rocciamelone (3538m).There are many walking routes in the various natural parks in the immediate vicinity and several 'Via Ferrata' in the immediate vicinity.A visit to the beautiful city of Turin with its beautiful squares, museums, the famous coffee houses and to the famous wine region of the Piemonte, where the famous Barolo, Barbaresco and Barbera come from, are definitely worth a visit. the house can be heated well.There are excellent winter sports opportunities at 40 minutes drive (Sauze d'Oulx, Sestriere, Bardonecchia).A nice house for people who like being in nature, yet not far from civilization.
