Nel Vigneto

The house is quite and quietly located between the vineyards outside Canelli has an orchard and offers a great view over the hills. It is not for nothing that this region has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2014. The house was completely renovated and modernized in 2020. From the 2024 season, the house also has air conditioners. There is free internet everywhere.

Canelli is a lively village and is known for its spumante. Be sure to visit one of the underground wine cellars called "cathedrals". A system of 12 km in length underground. It also has shops, bars, restaurants (including a restaurant with MICHELIN star) and a market where farmers from the region sell their cheese, sausage, vegetables and fruit. The gastronomy and wines from this region are world famous, including Barolo, Barbera, Moscato d'Asti. This is where the slow food movement started. Aqcui Terme, Alba and Asti are half an hour away. Turin an hour and Milan and the Ligurian coast an hour and a half. Are you going for a walk through the vineyards, are you going to cycle over the hills or join us on a truffle hunt in the fall? A ride through the area to one of the nice towns also offers beautiful views with snow-capped alpine peaks in the distance when the weather is clear. Then settle down by the pool and enjoy the peace and the view.

The House
Ground floor
The kitchen with a dishwasher, 5-burner gas hob, oven, fridge and freezer. has patio doors to the sunny veranda. In the morning you can enjoy your breakfast here at the large dining table and the beautiful sunrise. The living room has a pull-out queen-size sofa bed (160 x 200) and a cozy wood stove for colder days. Downstairs there is a full bathroom with washing machine.

Floor
There is another bathroom and two spacious bedrooms on the first floor. There is also a veranda with a beautiful view over the entire width. French doors from the bedrooms give access to the veranda.

The garden
From April 2021 there will be a saltwater swimming pool (better for the skin and the environment) and, in addition to a BBQ for charcoal, also a lava stone fired on wood. From the lounge set under the veranda you have a beautiful view of the illuminated village of San Marzano Oliveto in the evening while enjoying a local wine. Parking is possible in the designated places. Is there ripe fruit on our fruit trees? Feel free to pick.

For whom?
Our house is suitable for couples, friends or families, possibly with a baby or children who can swim. Note: The pool is not fenced and is 1.40m deep. Here you can enjoy the tranquility with the occasional tractor sounds from the winegrowers in the background.
