With a total of three apartments, this complex is ideal for relaxing, while the picturesque villages, large cities (Turin, Genoa), Alps and the Riviera are very easily accessible. This large UNO apartment (approx. 85 m2) is situated on the ground floor in a completely renovated farmhouse with spacious garden and is therefore suitable for people with reduced mobility. Through a private entrance you open the door of this unique apartment: a great combination of an authentic space with contemporary comfort. Vaulted ceilings, which are traditionally so typical in this area, but with a tight cast floor and solar water heaters! The apartment is suitable for up to 6 people and has the following layout:
- Kitchen with dishwasher, hob, combi microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.
- a new bathroom with shower and toilet.
- two spacious bedrooms, which have new box spring beds.
- a living room with a luxurious sofa bed and television (including Dutch channels).
Of course the apartment has a covered outdoor terrace with a fixed barbecue and can be used the pool with lounge chairs and an outdoor shower. There is a parking space for communal use, and there are some sun terraces.
Although Piedmont has many well-known areas, the Langhe is one of the better known. A hilly region bordering the wide valley of the Po with great views of the Alps. De Langhe is best known for its culinary delights, with the Barolo wine and the white truffle as eye-catchers. It is a piece of Italy as it should be. The Langhe offers space, is not yet overflowing with tourism, untouched nature, the region is pure, honest and it is very affordable. The residents of the Langhe are friendly and helpful. The village of Clavesana has many borgata's, but centrally has a supermarket, a bar, several restaurants and a large Cantina with good wines. Because of its location on the river Tanaro with the imposing Calanchi (chalk cliffs) and with the high hills full of vines and hazelnut trees it is wonderful to stay there. Life is slow but almost excessively good and approached - according to us - the typical Italian Dolce Vita. The world famous towns and cities of Barolo, Alba, Bra, Mondovi and Cuneo are easily accessible, but also Turin, Genoa, the Alps and the Riviera are about an hour away. With major events such as the international White Truffle Fair in Alba, the music festival Collezione in Barolo, Grasso Bue (meat) in Carru and then the many village festivals in the summer there is always something to do!
