Our authentic Italian house from 1700 is located in the historic center of Borghetto Santo Spirito, 80 meters from the beach . It has 2 large bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, cozy living room, kitchen and a lovely roof terrace where you can eat and sunbathe. Free WIFI . There is a garage at the house for storing motorbikes, bicycles, surfboards, buggies, beach equipment, etc. There is a large free parking lot not far from the house. Shops, restaurants and the bus stop are around the corner. The train station can be reached on foot.

There is a free beach with a shower and toilet, as well as a paid beach where you can rent sun loungers and cabins at affordable prices. You are among the friendly Italian people.

Borghetto is an ancient city with open-air theater, live music, beautiful sights, a pleasant boulevard and many culinary activities. There is an open-air swimming pool nearby in Loano (3 km) and the swimming paradise "Le Caravelle" in Ceriale, 4 km away.
The property is available for rental all year round. No elevator available. There are two flights of stairs.
Pets not allowed.

We offer full service, the price includes; Gas*, water, electricity, towels , bed and kitchen linen, tourist tax and free WiFi in the house.
*The gas for heating is exclusive.

We have an official rental license.
The house is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected at every change.

Explanation of prices

The prices include gas*, water, electricity, Wi-Fi in the house, towels, bed and kitchen linen and the tourist tax (€1.00 pppn).
* The gas for heating is exclusive.

Rental conditions:
Late arrival or early departure from the house, for whatever reason, cannot lead to a (partial) refund of the rental amount. The occupancy of the house is limited to 4 people.
The landlords do not accept any liability for damage and/or injury caused by tenants of the holiday home. The landlords are also not liable for loss, theft or damage to the property of the tenants. The private garage for the car is a completely empty garage box, in case of damage the tenant is responsible.
The following applies to bookings: A deposit of 50% of the rent must be paid within 7 calendar days after receipt of the booking confirmation. The remaining 50% of the rent must be paid no later than 1 month before the start of the rental period. You can cancel free of charge up to 1 month before the arrival date. You will get the 50% deposit back.
This is a non-smoking home. Smokers must smoke outside. Pets are not allowed.

The living floor is located above the (bicycle) storage room with washing machine, dryer and ping-pong table. On the 1st garden terrace, next to the storage room, you will find a barbecue with an 8-person picnic table. The play equipment is on the 2nd terrace and there is (lockable) access to the swimming pool (around 3.6 m and 1.0 m). m deep).
The living room has a fireplace and offers sea views and modern comfort. To the south lies the large adjoining balcony.
All window frames on the living floor have recently been replaced and fitted with double glazing.
The kitchen combines an authetic fireplace with completely new and modern appliances for all convenience. Through the open connection with the living room one easily reaches the dining area on the balcony.
The master bedroom also has a mix of old and new: fresh, comfortable with a large bed (2x2m), sea view (this window has now been replaced by double doors to the balcony/see other photo).

The 2nd bedroom on the main floor has a spacious 2 bed (160x205cm with pocket sprung mattresses and syntethisch duvet.
Bathroom 1 has a double bath with a shower above, wash basin, toilet and underfloor heating.
The generous (play) attic is decorated as an open loft with three single beds and a (2 double) sofa bed and features a private bathroom and toilet on the landing.
The loft can be divided with curtains and a folding screen for more privacy near the beds.
The bright 2nd bathroom in the attic has a large double bath, sink and separate shower.
The large south facing balcony (with sea view) provides space for a dining area, lounge area and sun beds.
From the balcony and garden this sea view from the wooded slope of the Col del Melogno (995m). In the middle of nature, the view is never disturbed by activity or other disturbing images...
In clear weather, the coast of Corsica (= about 200 km away) can be seen on the horizon at sunrise.
For small children there include swings, slide and climbing frames and the adjacent forest full of 'discoveries'.
The 3rd garden terrace serves the football field of 5 x 15 m and is covered with gauze so that the balls do not roll away. There is also a basket inside.
The beach at Finale Ligure offers plenty of opportunities for a lovely beach and is right on a long palm-lined boulevard with many eateries Bagni where beach chairs can be rented. Directly on the other side of the boulevard even more restaurants and the town center with plenty of nice shops.
Just over the top of the col (about 50 meters up from our house) begins a beautiful 40 km route through the interior to Albenga and along the coast. Mainly down for 'ordinary cyclists. Bicycle rear car (rack is ready) upstairs or ..... ??
A day trip to the five villages of Cinque Terre world is not short (about 2 hours drive) but definitely worth it. Walk the path of lovers' high along the sea and once a train advantageous back. Anyway recommended: do not go beyond Levanto by car and take the train.
Portofino is about 1.5 hours away and is known as one of the more luxurious beach resorts where the jet moors regularly. The road to it is flanked by the grandeur of the beautiful old villas and hotels (in midsummer often one long file).
A very different experience the Christmas season or spring break! So close to the Mediterranean you can witness in Melogno then often heavy snowfall (up to 30 cm in one night!). At first a 1.5 hour drive takes you over snowy slopes. For those cold looks like good reason to sit snug around the hearth
On a nice day, 5 minutes drive to the expansive Mondole ski area (130 km of slopes and 31 lifts) offers the chance for a nice sporty combination with the rest of the escape. From this Alpine Edge a panoramic view of the (Po) plain.
You will find a very special pedestrian (suspension) bridge at the Ferrata deg li artisiti (can be done from the house or the town of Isallo near Magliolo)
