Casadellapalma is a modern house with beautiful old features. Located in a beautiful olive grove with over 100 olive trees and various terraces, beautiful views and many chill spots. The basis of the house is the old rustico, the high part in which now 2 bedrooms and a pantry. In 2002, the previous owner added a large living room, bathroom and kitchen, creating this spacious house.
Because the house had been empty for several (corona) years, there was a lot of painting and odd jobs.
Now the house looks comfortable and contemporary. A driveway through the olive grove takes you to the entrance and front terrace. You can unload and turn the car here.
The terrace has 2 dining areas. 1 under the pergola, half in the sun and the other under the canopy where it is always cool (and dry) and where you can have a delicious lunch and dinner. A pizza oven and BBQ. 2 ceiling fans provide a fresh breeze on hot summer evenings. The eye-catcher is the amazing palm tree that provides plenty of shade. From under this tree a fabulous view over the valley and Perinaldo.
The large living room has a modern kitchen corner with dishwasher, oven, and all desired kitchen appliances. The dining table is spacious and the cozy dining area has a sofa, nice armchairs and a fireplace. A small WC on the ground floor. The stairs take you to a mezzanine floor where there is a pantry. On the first floor a cozy bedroom, wardrobes and a very large bathroom with shower and bathtub. The hall is equipped with air conditioning.
A 2nd staircase takes you to the Master bedroom. This has a large double bed and also air conditioning.
The house is playful with lots of light and beautiful corners.
And then there is the small house that we call the guest house. This is located in the garden opposite the large house and can accommodate 2 people (2 x 1 or 1x double bed). It has been refurbished and painted and has a small simple bathroom. We are going to completely renovate this house in the future, but for now it is fine for 1 or 2 guests.
You can wander around and chill out in different places throughout the site.
The house is located 4.5 kilometers outside Apricale and is ideal for nature lovers and peace seekers but also for sports enthusiasts. Fanatical cyclists and walkers can go in all directions here.
A group of friends, befriended couples as well as a family with older children will feel at home here. There is no swimming pool (yet) but nearby several swimming spots in the rivers and the sea is nearby.
The road from Aprical is partly very narrow so if you are afraid to drive on narrow mountain roads that is not so convenient. Everywhere on the road there are places where you can wait for an oncoming car so it is not really dangerous.
