Enjoy a luxurious and fully furnished holiday home with a beautiful view of Lake Iseo at Casa Lago: there is a large swimming pool and a private garage available for you.
The holiday home is located in the lively village of Tavernola Bergamasca, directly on Lake Iseo. That is in the Italian Lake District in northern Italy, between Lake Como and Lake Garda. Driving around the lake is 65 kilometers. At Lake Iseo there is no mass tourism and you can still enjoy the authentic Italian atmosphere!
Casa Lago is about 100 meters higher than the lake. From the complex you have a breathtaking unobstructed view over Lake Iseo and the world-famous Monte Isola (which is the largest island in Europe in a lake; 9 km circumference; car-free). You also have a view of the other islands in the lake: Isola di Loreto and Isola di San Paolo.
The house was built in 2010. It is luxuriously finished and the kitchen is fully equipped.

In 2016 , there was a 'first-class' view of the world-famous artwork Floating Piers: that was a temporary artwork on the water of Lake Iseo, by artist 'Christo', consisting of 70,000 square meters of yellow fabric, supported by a modular floating dock system of 226,000 high-density polyethylene cubes.
You can fly to our house at Bergamo Orio al Serio with, for example, Ryanair. The airport is only half an hour away (by car) from our house!
The village has 2,500 inhabitants and in the center you will find all amenities: bakeries, butcher, supermarkets, 3 bars, 4 restaurants, hairdressers, doctor, pharmacy and 'tabacco'. The center and the nearest beach are less than 5 minutes from our place. You can also walk there on foot.
There are many (sports) activities possible around the lake: cycling, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, golf, kayaking, sailing and skiing in winter.
Shopping and visiting cities, it's all within reach. Franciacorta Outlet Center (20km) has 140 shops with the most famous brands and real outlet prices. The indoor shopping center Elnoss near Brescia is also superb, hundreds of shops, a 45-minute drive away. As well as Orio Center; hundreds of covered shops near Bergamo airport. Free parking!
We are Dutch owners and have a local help from Lara (an Italian lady who lives nearby). We will welcome you personally on arrival and show you the way. Of course we are and will remain available to guests at all times if there are any questions.
SAFETY AND OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES
- A very extensive first aid kit is available. In accordance with Italian rental regulations, 6-litre foam extinguishers with a 34A/233B fire rating and fire blanket are provided.
- We have ELRO FS(*CONTENT HIDDEN*) smoke detectors that comply with NEN-EN 14604.
- We have an Alecto COA3910 Carbon monoxide detector in house (EN50291-1:2018 standard).
- We also have a Nedis gas detector in-house (NEN-EN 14604:2005/C1:2008 certification).
- Our house is not suitable for disabled people and is not equipped for babies/toddlers/preschoolers
- You reach the house via a staircase, so if you have difficulty walking, that may not be pleasant.
- There is a garage box available, but it is quite narrow (2.5 meters). You can park freely inside in three different places directly around the house.
- The swimming pool has no fence. If you come with children without a swimming certificate, parental supervision is required continuously.
