A beautiful holiday home with beautiful views of the lake and the mountains, located on the sunny hills surrounding Lake Orta.

In the municipality of Miasino, in the village of Carcegna, this holiday home is located just outside the village, a 4-minute drive from Lake Orta. Carcegna is an old village where you can enjoy the beautiful view, nature and tranquility.

Our detached holiday home is built on a steep hill with a garden on several floors. The house has a lot of light and, with approximately 150 m2, offers plenty of space for a holiday with a large family or friends.

The living and sleeping area is spread over two floors and can accommodate 6 people in 3 bedrooms and has two bathrooms. All bedrooms have double beds. The house has been modernized in recent years while retaining original Italian details and offers a cozy interior. The ground floor consists of a spacious bedroom with a double bed, a sofa and 2 armchairs and is connected to a kitchen with dining table and a bathroom with shower. From the ground floor you have access to the garden with terrace. The top floor consists of the main entrance with a spacious entrance, two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, a spacious living room and a balcony. From this floor you also have access to the garden with terrace.

Enjoy the beautiful view and your holiday in the sunny garden with the various terraces with garden furniture.

There are 2 to 3 parking spaces available on site.

Please note: due to the different levels and stairs, the house is less suitable for families with small children or people who have difficulty climbing stairs.

Lake Orta is perhaps Italy's best kept secret when it comes to lakes, as it is still relatively untouched by mass tourism – that's what gives it its beauty. The towns surrounding the lake are picturesque in pastel shades, with quaint streets and enchanting landscapes.

At Lake Orta you can enjoy the beautiful nature, the wonderful cooling water, the cozy atmosphere and restaurants in the villages.
And if you want to see even more: From Lake Orta you can easily reach Lake Maggiore or go hiking in the mountains of the Valle d'Ossola area with the Monte Rosa mountains as the highlight or you can take a city trip to Turin or Milan - you are within everywhere in no time.

Since 2022 we have been the happy owners of this house on Lake Orta.
We had been looking for a nice place on one of the Italian lakes for a few years. For us, this area is the ideal combination of mountains, water, sun and Italy.

Explanation of prices

Payment : At the time of booking, a 25% deposit is required and the remainder is due 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellation policy: If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts invoice, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.

· Mottarone: the home mountain of Lake Orta, accessible by car. On this mountain you have a great view of 7 lakes and in good weather as far as Milan

· Visit Lake Maggiore – Stresa and Verbania are two of the many beautiful places on this lake.

This national park is also called "The Largest Wilderness Area in Italy" and is a real paradise for hiking and nature lovers. Half an hour's drive from our house and close to Lake Maggiore and Lake di Mergozzo you will find this unique and rugged nature reserve full of hiking opportunities.

Turin is one of Italy's largest cities – less stuffy and more beautiful than its larger and better-known rival Milan. An elegant city with much to do.
