Pantano Verricchi

Attractive holiday home with fantastic sea views!
In a paradisiacal location on the southern Italian Cilento coast, about 200 kilometers south of Naples, lies our holiday home Pantano Verricchi. With a breathtaking view over the blue sea and along the coastlines of the Golfo di Policastro bay.

Large parts of the Cilento are Unesco World Heritage Sites, which means that the region enjoys a protected status both on land and at sea with all its natural beauty. The house is located near the village of Ispani and is located about 250 meters above sea level.

Pantano has been renovated and modernized by us with a new extra bedroom, a new extra bathroom, a new kitchen with appliances, a large terrace, good bed mattresses, a nice outdoor shower, etc. The house is quietly located, but not completely secluded, on a large plot (4500 m2) in the hills near the sea. The spacious terrace is south facing with sun all day and sea views throughout. The house is suitable for up to 6 people and is fully equipped. There are two bedrooms with double beds (mattress size 160x200 cm). One of the  bedrooms is on the first floor and there is a bedroom on the ground floor. On a mezzanine is a private double mattress (mattress size 160x200 cm). There is WiFi. Car is necessary. The property is completely fenced, at the top of the road is the entrance gate.

A stay in Pantano can be combined very well with a holiday to Naples and/or the Amalfi Coast and/or the island of Capri, for example. The most famous sights are Pompeii, Hercoleum, Paestum and Mount Vesuvius.
Several coastal villages with beaches are nearby, such as Capitello, Villammare, Scario, Camerota and Palinuro. Also along the beautiful coastal road towards Maratea are many accessible bays with beaches. In the summer, special boats leave from Scario to beaches that you cannot reach by car. The interior with mountain villages such as San Giovanni a Piro, Vibonati, Torraca, Morigerati, Lagonegro (ski area in winter!) and Maratea are also worth a visit.
