This Irish cottage is a homely and comfortable accommodation that is ideal for families, relatives and friends looking for a rural cottage. It is located close to the pleasant village of Sneem.
The quietly located Irish cottage has four bedrooms and a cozy kitchen-diner.
The cozy living room offers a fantastic unobstructed view of the landscape and Kenmare Bay, an environment that touches you. Here you can relax by the fireplace and enjoy games or dive into the next chapter of your book.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen-diner with a nice dining area. This is also where you enter the house.
The kitchen is equipped with all kinds of modern kitchen appliances, such as a combination microwave, dishwasher and electric hob. The living room has a cozy seating area around a beautiful authentic fireplace.
Next to the living room there is a single bedroom.

On the top floor there are 3 bedrooms: 1 x master bedroom, a bedroom with a single bed and a bedroom with three single beds.

The village of Sneem is approximately 10 minutes drive from the cottage and is referred to as De Knoop in the Ring of Kerry. The village is full of colorful buildings and lively, friendly pubs serving delicious local food.
The entire village gives you a feeling of being at home and the Irish people will welcome you with open arms.

If you want to see a little more, get in the car and drive along the Ring of Kerry, where you will have breathtaking views of the coastline dotted with sandy beaches, seaside villages such as Waterville and Cahersiveen. Furthermore, you can enjoy a beautifully varied, rugged and lovely landscape with various cultural attractions. If you prefer to do something on foot, there are all kinds of adventurous walking options on sometimes almost impassable paths that are flooded by rivers.

My name is Erna, married, 3 children and 2 grandchildren. I live with my husband in one of the most beautiful provinces in the Netherlands and I work in education. Our family has been coming to our cottage, 'Scottish Garden', for almost 50 years. Ireland and especially the cottage has become an important part of our lives. What attracts us so much? The beauty and ruggedness of nature, the conviviality of Irish life and the friendly people. In short, a country where peace and nature come together.
