In 2006, National Geographic Traveler called the Irish Dingle peninsula into one of the most beautiful spots in the world. That was no surprise to us ...
The house is in the village of Ballyferriter on the westernmost tip of the Dingle Peninsula in Kerry. The landscape describe is impossible. Rather look at the countless photos on many sites to find.
The peninsula is also a place where a lot of (pre) historic buildings have been preserved. Forts from the Iron Age to one of the oldest Christian churches in the world.
From the house you look out on Mount Brandon (952 meters) and Smerwick Harbour, a beautiful bay with a beautiful long beach where you can swim safely. Around the house is a large garden where children can play with a swing, a playhouse, and a small goal football with your family.
There are three bedrooms, all with private bathroom (2x shower, 1x bath tub) and toilet. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a fireplace and (pre-paid) wifi. For when it rains once (yes, that can really happen ...) there are plenty of books and a DVD player.
In the immediate vicinity of the house (few kilometers) is doing. Anything Enjoy the many beautiful beaches and hidden coves. Stroll along the jagged coastline. Climb Mount Brandon. Visit the bustling harbor and Dingle with its many pubs and shops and its most famous resident dolphin Fungi.
Whatever is done a lot is riding (near Ventry), golf (beautiful course located 1 km from the house), water sports and fishing. A highlight is a boat trip to the Blasket Islands.
Even a day trip to Killarney and the Ring of Kerry is a must.
In the cottage folders with all kinds of leaflets about the various attractions and detailed walking maps.
Twenty years ago our parents instantly fell in love with this beautiful (est) piece of Ireland. They bought some land and started building the Coinin House. Unfortunately, they can not get himself to enjoy. But meanwhile we keep as much of this place as they! As often as we can, we travel to our second home. Let yourself be overwhelmed by the breathtaking surroundings and then come back to our comfortable cottage ... Geert, Monique, Meike and Fanne Ellen and Beatrice

Heerlijk weer terug te zien in jullie prachtig gelegen huis in Balllyferriter, Dingle. Het voelde weer als thuiskomen. Mijn man is zelfs wezen duiken met zeehonden vanuit Dingle.
Very nice cottage at the far west of Dingle peninsula. Scenic area, lot's of activities in the area. Big garden in the front for kids to play soccer or others. Big clean kitchen- living room area. For water and heating system some technical skills are useful... enjoyed our stay.
