Erato

LOCATION

Erato is a cozy and comfortable house with a large and green terrace and a flowery roof terrace. A haven of peace in a beautiful seaside resort.

A wonderful place to relax after a day at the beach or after an excursion.

You have everything close at hand, including the beach, shops, ATMs, restaurants, cafes and bars.

You can also easily go on excursions, as public transport is a 7-minute walk away, as well as taxis.

LOUTRAKI

Our house is located in the small provincial town of Loutraki, a beautiful seaside resort with an extensive beach and a long, wide boulevard where you can walk or enjoy a beautiful sunset on a terrace or  eat at one of the many eateries.

There are many entertainment options for young people.

For enthusiasts, there is the SPA with healing water and the CASINO

These are within walking distance.

AIRFIELD

The airport is 1.15 hours away. You can, in consultation, be picked up at the airport by taxi . The taxi costs approx. 120 euros.

You can also take the train from the airport to Corinth and then take a taxi.

There is  a (connecting) transfer, on the other side of the same platform.

The cost of a ticket is approx. 15 euros p.p. and the taxi about 25 euros.

TRIPS

Loutraki is very centrally located if you want to make trips.

Athens, Ancient Corinth, Mykines, Nafplion and the ancient theater of Epidaurus are close by.

There is a direct and regular bus connection with Athens, Corinth and with transfers to all kinds of places on the Peloponnese.

Even a trip to the islands of Poros, Aigina or Hydra is doable.

In the vicinity are the lake Bouliagmeni and the nunnery Osios Patapios. A visit here is definitely worth it.

ERATO

Erato is located a few minutes walk from the center, on a road that leads to the outskirts of the city, on a slight slope.

A good place to start a nice walk with a magnificent view over the town and the Gulf of Corinth.

You enter through the garden gate and then walk up the wide staircase . Upstairs is a beautiful terrace, where you can sit to have breakfast or a cup of coffee.

A sliding door gives direct access to the living room  , which is located in the middle of the house.

Kitchen

To the left of the living room is a modern, large kitchen, which is fully equipped.

You will find a large fridge, stove with electric oven and a ceramic hob, a microwave, a dishwasher, a kettle, a coffee maker, a sandwich maker, a toaster and a mixer.

There  is a large kitchen table that can accommodate at least 6 people.

There is also a bookcase here with many Dutch books.

There is enough space to add an extra bed.

Bathroom

Behind the living room is the bathroom.This has a walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet. There are also cupboards for toiletries and towels.

There is a hairdryer in the drawer. Under the sink you will find the cleaning products.

Living room

The cozy living room has a sitting area with two armchairs and a double sofa bed.

 There is a smart TV.

Bedroom

The bedroom is to the right of the living room.

Here is a large double bed. A camping cot can be installed on request.

There is also a wardrobe and a chair.

Refrigeration

Both the living room, the kitchen and  the bedroom are cooled with air conditioning.

There are also fans in every room.

Water

Hot water is always available by means of. solar energy.

The tap water in Loutraki is very drinkable.

Wax

The laundry room and washing machine are located in the hallway at the back entrance.

The laundry can be hung on the terrace to dry.

The smaller pieces on the drying rack and the larger ones on the clothesline.

Hall
There is a freezer here.

Here is also a coat rack and a shoe closet.

Roof terrace
On the roof there is a large terrace with many flowering plants. A spiral staircase gives access to the roof terrace.
On warm summer evenings, it is nice  to sit in the sitting area with, for example, a glass of wine or a beer.
It is nice and cool there in the evening, when the sun has set.
Next to the roof terrace is the solar panel.

Barbecue 
At the entrance there is a barbecue .

WIFI
For contact with the home front etc. there  is WiFi.
