Oljapetra is a completely renovated, quietly located holiday home for 4 people with private pool, just 2.5 km from the sea. The house is within walking distance of the village of Lefkogia (with its supermarket and nice tavernas, be sure to go to Stella and say hello to her!). It is also a 5-minute drive from Plakias, a bustling village with a beautiful large beach and many good restaurants.
Inside
Modern living room with open kitchen, double sliding doors to the terrace and the garden with private pool. Two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed of 180x200 (Coconut – super quality beds) and one with 2 single beds that can also be covered as a double bed. Finally, there is a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
Outside
Large fully fenced garden with beautiful views of the sea and the mountains, private swimming pool, various seating areas, outdoor kitchen, fruit trees and ample parking for the car. Very special is the roof terrace upstairs, where you can lounge and enjoy the setting sun!
Environment
Lefkogia is a beautiful village within walking distance of your accommodation, there are several restaurants and a supermarket. Plakias 6km away has all facilities and many restaurants, beach bars etc.
Activities
In this rugged and mountainous region with its beautiful views, you can enjoy hiking without meeting anyone. In the Kourtaliotiko gorge you can take stairs to the waterfalls and the church of Agios Nikolaos. In the gorge you will see many birds of prey. Would you rather go to the beach? Then there is plenty of choice: from your holiday home you can quickly and easily reach Amoudi and Damnoni Beach, but be sure to go to the beach of Plakias, Souda or Preveli beach with the unique palm forest. Each beach has its own unique charm. You can go by car (everything is a maximum of 15 minutes away) but you can also take the boat from Plakias to Amoudi and Preveli. You can also walk to Preveli beach. Park your car at the Venetian bridge from the 18th century and follow the route along beautiful old olive trees to Preveli beach, partly via the mountains and the river. The monastery of Moni Preveli is definitely worth a visit. It is still inhabited by three monks and is built around a spring, with many stairs and differences in level.
