Spíti Espéde

This characteristic holiday home is located along an olive grove in the picturesque village of Agios Markos. It has been completely renovated, but still has the characteristic elements. Next to the house is a large garden (1100 m ² ) with a heated private swimming pool. The plot is completely fenced, which gives you a lot of privacy. The house is accessible from the street via a walking path of approximately 40 meters.

Bedrooms
You enter the hall through the front door. This leads you to both bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a balcony, from here you look out over the sea and the valley. There is a double box-spring bed and wardrobe.

Bedroom 2 also has French doors that lead you to the balcony. In addition to the double box spring (or 2x1 person), there is a single sofa bed and a wall cupboard to store clothes.

Living space
Via the stairs you walk to the living room with kitchen. This is equipped with a La Cornue gas stove with double oven, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso machine and milk frother. The utility room has a microwave, large refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The living room has a sofa (sofa bed with visco foam mattress), there is a (mobile) television with Chromecast in the house.

Bathroom and toilet
The bathroom and a separate toilet are also located on the ground floor. The bathroom has a sink, a large mirror and make-up mirror, rain shower with removable hand shower. Towels, bath towels and hairdryer are provided.

Guesthouse
Separately located in the garden, you will find a guesthouse, which can be optionally booked , where bedroom 3 is located .
Bedroom 3 has sliding doors to the outdoor terrace, a double box spring (140x200) and a
wardrobe, small refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso machine and of course air conditioning
The bathroom and separate toilet are located on the outside of the guesthouse.
The bathroom has a sink with a large mirror and rain shower above it.
Towels, bath towels and hairdryer are provided.

Garden
From the living room you walk through the French doors to the terrace with large dining table and lounge sofas. The terrace is covered with adjustable louvre roofs and electric screens. From this terrace you have a beautiful view of the garden, the swimming pool, the sea and the valley.

For enthusiasts, we have centuries-old olive, orange, lemon, loquat and pomegranate trees in the terraced garden. If you are lucky, the fruits will be ripe enough to pick. There is also a herb garden where you can prepare the most beautiful dishes together with local fresh products, such as fish and olive oil.

To cool off you can take a dip in the pool. It is heated, so you can also swim in it during the cooler period. The swimming pool is 7 x 3.5 m, equipped with lighting and easily accessible with a pool ladder spanning the full width. Adjacent to the swimming pool is a large terrace with a lounge sofa, sun beds and attractive canopy. From here you have a beautiful view of the sea and the old fortress of Kerkyra.

The entire house has WiFi and air conditioning.

Environment
Agios Markos is a small and cozy mountain village in the northeast of the Greek island of Corfu, where you can experience the hospitality and authentic atmosphere of the traditional Greek environment. Agios Markos is a wonderful destination if you want to enjoy the real Greece in peace, but with all amenities.

From the holiday home you look out over the coastline of the port of Ipsos, which is about 1500 meters away. There are nice coffee shops, beach bars and restaurants with sea views on the long boulevard. There is also a supermarket and a bakery/patisserie for your daily shopping. There is a vibrant nightlife here in the months of July and August.

Activities
The area is ideal for walking, cycling and of course swimming and other water sports activities at one of the many different beaches and beautiful bays. You can use the trekking bikes for free (2x) or our electric bikes for a fee (4x)

From Spiti Espéde you can make nice trips to various cities: the capital Kerkyra (17 km), Barbati (4 km), Palaiokastritska (16 km), Mount Pantokrator (18 km), Achilleio (25 km) and Sidari (27 km). ).
