This characteristic holiday home is located in an olive grove in the picturesque village of Agios Markos. It has been completely renovated, but still has the characteristic elements. Next to the house is a large garden (1100 m2) with heated private swimming pool. The plot is fully fenced, so you have a lot of privacy here. From the street, the house is accessible via a footpath of about 40 meters.
Bedrooms
Through the front door you enter the hall. This leads you to both bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a balcony, from here you look out over the sea and the valley. There is a double box-spring bed and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 also has patio doors that lead you out to the balcony. In addition to the double box spring (or 2x1 person), there is a single sofa bed and closet.
Living space
You walk down the stairs, where the living room with open kitchen is located.
The kitchen is equipped with a La Cornue gas stove with double oven, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso machine, milk frother, spices are provided. In the adjoining utility room you will find extra amenities such as a microwave, a large fridge with freezer compartment and a dishwasher (washing up tablets are available). The living area is furnished with a sofa set (sofa bed) and has a mobile TV with Chromecast.
In the adjacent storage room there is a washing machine and dryer (detergent available). In addition, 4 Eurotrail beach chairs and two yoga mats are available here for extra convenience and relaxation during your stay.
Bathroom and toilet
On the ground floor there is a stylish bathroom and a separate toilet.
The bathroom has a sink with a large mirror and a make-up mirror. A rain shower, equipped with a removable hand shower. For extra comfort, towels and bath towels are provided, as well as a hair dryer, body and hair shampoo and conditioner.
Guesthouse
In the beautifully landscaped garden is the attractive guesthouse, which houses Bedroom 3. This room has sliding doors that give direct access to the outdoor terrace. The bedroom is furnished with a double box spring (140x200), a wardrobe, a small fridge, a kettle, a Nespresso machine and of course air conditioning.
On the outside of the guesthouse you will find a small bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. The bathroom has a sink with a large mirror and a make-up mirror. Here too, everything revolves around comfort: bath towels are waiting for you, as well as a hair dryer, luxury body and hair shampoo and conditioner.
Garden
Through the living room you walk through the patio doors to the terrace with large dining table and lounge sofas. The terrace is covered with adjustable louvered roofs and electric screens. From this terrace you have beautiful views of the garden, the pool, the sea and the valley.
For enthusiasts, we have centuries-old olive, orange, lemon, loquat and pomegranate trees in the terraced garden. If you are lucky, the fruits are ripe enough to pick, there is also a herb garden with which you can prepare the most beautiful dishes.
To cool off, you can take a dip in the pool. It is heated, so you can also swim in it during the cooler period. The swimming pool is 7 x 3.5 m in size, equipped with lighting and easily accessible with a full width of the pool ladder. Adjacent to the pool is a large terrace with a lounge sofa, sunbeds and attractive canopy. From here you have a beautiful view of the sea and the old fortress of Kerkyra.

Environment
Agios Markos is a small and cozy mountain village in the northeast of the Greek island of Corfu, where you can get acquainted with the hospitality and authentic atmosphere of the traditional Greek environment. Agios Markos is a wonderful destination if you want to enjoy the real Greece in peace.
From the holiday home you have a view of the coastline of the port town of Ipsos, which is about 1500 meters away. On the long promenade there are nice coffee shops, beach bars and restaurants with a view of the sea. Here is also a supermarket and a bakery/patisserie for your daily shopping. In the months of July and August there is a vibrant nightlife here.
Activities
The area is ideal for walking, cycling and of course swimming and other water sports activities at one of the many different beaches and beautiful bays.
From Spiti Espéde you can make nice trips to various cities: the capital Kerkyra, Barbati, Palaiokastritska, Mount Pantokrator, Achilleio and Sidari. In the holiday home there are a number of travel books from which you can get ideas, but we are also happy to share our holiday tips with you.
