On the north side of the house you can enjoy a lovely cool terrace on hot days, in the shade and with a beautiful view of the edge of the forest.
The bright living room has a spacious corner sofa and extra armchair. In the stylish wall unit you will find the TV and a radio/CD player for relaxing evenings.
The cozy dining area has six chairs, with two additional chairs available. Enjoy your meal together with a beautiful view of the edge of the forest.
The house has 4 double bedrooms, one of which is on the ground floor – ideal if climbing stairs is difficult or for those who like everything on the ground floor.
Comfortable sitting area with television and radio/CD player in the wall cupboard. Via Canal Digital you will receive almost all Dutch television channels.
Cozy sitting area with coffee table and table lamp: the perfect place to relax in the evening in the corner of the sofa with a book.
The ground floor has a terrace at the front and rear. Choose sun or shade and enjoy the forest view, with a bit of luck you will spot deer or a curious fox.
There are 6 sleeping places on the first floor. Here you also have a second bathroom with washing machine for laundry in between. Always easy.
Our village is beautifully situated in the landscape. From the house you can start beautiful walks through the forest or along the surrounding farmlands, with peace and quiet and beautiful views every time.
Even from a great height, you can see how green and idyllic our village is: surrounded by forests and nature, a place where space, tranquility and landscape come together.
On the reservoir you can go water skiing via a modern cable car. Ideal for children and sporty adults who are looking for action and fun on the water.

The large hall at the entrance is divided into 2 parts. Exactly in the same design as the half-timbered wall on the outside, there is an extra wall with self-made stained glass. The cold of winter is kept out of the living area and offers a lot of comfort.
The large kitchen with a large table and a view of the living room. The kitchen is fully equipped. Delicious cooking, baking, baking bread, coffee maker, there is everything. And with family or friends at the table, the coziest place in the house to eat or for a board game.
Large 2-person bedroom with a good bed and nice duvets. Extra bed linen and warm woolen blankets are in the closet. From this room you can easily step into the shower room or separate toilet room. This bedroom has a view of the lovely garden.
Bedroom 2 with stove, this also has two comfortable beds, and access door to the large bathroom, with shower, toilet and sink. Here too, extra bedding and woolen blankets can be found in the closet for the cold periods.
All rooms are accessible from the spacious hall, and there is a large bookcase and a DVD cabinet. In addition to a selection of reading books, there are also magazines and various bird books.

The eat-in kitchen, equipped with everything needed for baking and roasting. There is also a large fridge and freezer here so you can stock up on groceries for several days. After dinner we have a nice chat while doing the dishes, the dishwasher is missing.
Kitchen with 6-burner Boretti and oven. If you like extensive cooking, baking and cooking, then you will enjoy it immensely. If you want to cook with friends, no problem either. There is plenty of room to make a nice meal together, you don't get in each other's way.

The cozy living room with large wood stove and view through to the kitchen. Lovely chairs and a bench. Candles can be lit on the cabinet. And in the cupboard the hiking maps and games to play with family or friends.
The sitting room is old-fashioned, but comfortably furnished. The lazy chairs have new cushions and upholstery. And there is a carpet, comfortable during the colder periods.
Large 2-person bedroom with wood stove and view to shower. The walls of this room are also finished with clay. There are mosquito nets around the beds so you can sleep peacefully without mosquitoes buzzing.
The house with barn seen from the garden. A large terrace, nice sun loungers and parasol, enjoy the rural tranquility, the red kite, the kestrels, swallows, and many different small birds. Of course with BBQ and fire barrel to be outside in the evening.
Enjoy the morning sun on this terrace. The ideal place in summer to have breakfast. In early and late summer a wonderfully warm place. In the summer, you need the parasol against the sharp sun. In the border, we try to have flowering plants at every time of the year.
The garden overlooking the mountains. In the garden there are several fruit trees, apple, pear, plum and cherry trees. If there is ripe fruit, you can enjoy this delicious snack. Enough space in the sun or shade all day to be outside, with a book or game.
Our street when you drive into the village, with beautiful characteristic old houses. The house is opposite the church, where the kestrels fly in and out in the spring and early summer.
Overview of Humpfershausen, around its many hiking and mountain bike trails. Open spaces are interspersed with dense forests, with ever-changing views. In addition, the village is an excellent base for visiting cities such as Meiningen, Schmalkalden, Erfurt, Eisenach or Weimar.
In the living room is an old-fashioned box bed, equipped with a mattress, so that it can really be used for 2 people to sleep. Also a lovely place to relax after a long walk or on a cold day. Underneath it is the TV for watching DVDs or movies via the internet.

The weather cannot always be sunny. Sometimes, a combination of rain, dark skies and a little sunshine, the rainbow shows itself.
The garden and the house (with shed) can be seen from the colorful, well-kept cemetery. At the end of the day, this is also the meeting place for women from the village.

After dinner, a short evening walk is very nice. Here with a view of the small church opposite our house. The kestrels fly back and forth here, and make a lot of fuss when there are young.
Just before the adjacent village of Schwarzbach is a wonderful walking area with plenty of birds. Early in the morning you can also spot a deer, fox or wild boar.
The orchard with old and new fruit trees. Here is a fire barrel to enjoy a crispy fire in the evening. There are often dry or broken branches along the edges. Always walk around and collect firewood for the campfire in the evening.
From the Humpfershauser Hütte you have a beautiful view over the meadow surroundings and show the nature well. Forests interspersed with open countryside and partly beautiful wildflower fields. The red kite, a beautiful bird of prey, is almost always seen here.
The views during the walks. This part of Thuringen borders the Thuringia Forest, and is characterized by the panoramic views in combination with forest. There is much to enjoy here for nature lovers.
Wander for hours through the woods, and then suddenly enjoy the views again.
In the spring and beginning of summer, many fields look beautifully yellow. The rapeseed fields are in bloom, and the landscape looks wonderfully cheerful and the whole area smells sweet with flowers.
