Landhaus Aulatal nr 6 is a detached bungalow for four people with a beautiful panoramic view. Our holiday home no. 6 is located on a small-scale bungalow park and has its own parking space. The houses are about 100 meters apart, ideal if you want to go on holiday with two families.
The house has been renovated and has a modern look due to the new furniture, comfort has also been thought of. The living room is nicely furnished with an attractive, fully automatic pellet stove to heat it comfortably in colder months. In 2026, a new vinyl floor was laid in the kitchen, living and dining room and hall and all interior doors were required. There is also a large flat screen television with all national Dutch channels and a new soundbar (can be connected to your device via Bluetooth). We also offer free Wi-Fi.
All rooms are protected from unwanted guests with mosquito nets.
The beds have comfortable pocket spring mattresses, all measuring 90 x 200cm and protected with hygiene covers (180 x 200 cm). Duvets (135 x 200cm/ 1 person) and pillows (80 x 80cm and 40 x 80cm) are provided, bed linen can be rented on request.
Both bedrooms have a double bed.
A cot with mattress and high chair is available on request.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, induction hob, oven, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, coffee machine, toaster, freezer and kettle.
The bathroom has a shower, sink, toilet, quick heater and hair dryer.
From the living room you have a magnificent view of the beautiful Hessian mountains with their extensive forests, meadows and grassland. Through the patio doors you enter the terrace in the large garden. A garden set with adjustable chairs and comfortable cushions and barbecue are provided and the roof overhang keeps you dry even in light rain and a crank-operated awning offers protection from the sun. You can sit around the house, so there is always a sun or shade spot to be found.
Pets (max 2 small dogs) are welcome. Smoking in the house is not allowed.
The park, the village and the facilities:
The park is spacious and quiet and is located directly on the farmlands and forests of the Hessian Knull Mountains.
About 1.5 kilometers away (nice walk through the forest!) is the village of Oberaula, where three supermarkets, a bank with ATM, various butchers and bakers, hairdresser and restaurants can be found. Oberaula has a beautiful outdoor swimming pool.
What to do:
In this beautiful area you can go hiking and cycling. Near the park is a beautiful 18-hole golf course where you can also eat well.
The cycle path "Roodkapje Land" is only a 2-minute walk away. It connects the fairytale landscape of the Schwalm region with the Fulda Valley in Niederaula. Enjoy breathtaking views of nature and the surrounding landscape along the approximately 60-kilometre-long cycle path from Neustadt (Hesse) to Niederaula. Historic railway buildings, bridges and railway markings and signs are just as striking as the modern works of art along the route.
In the surrounding area there are also numerous places, such as the half-timbered town of Alsfeld (21 km), the festival town of Bad Hersfeld (22 km), the documenta city of Kassel (64 km) with the Wilhelmshöhe mountain park, Marburg (67 km) with its historic old town and medieval upper town, the cathedral city of Fulda (50 km) and Homberg/Efze (28 km) with its medieval streets and beautiful market square.
If you like peace and quiet, but not the massiveness of the big chains, then Landhaus Aulatal is the right place for you.
