Seepark Kirchheim Huize Kok

Beautifully situated near forest (hiking routes) and reservoir (water ski track) with a beaver castle within walking distance. Nice towns to discover and a super golf course within a 10-minute drive. Germany is wonderful to discover, this area is still quiet (except for the 135 bungalows of the park) and has an excellent price/quality ratio. The house is equipped with every luxury (air conditioning, two bathrooms, 1 with bath, luxury kitchen, washing machine and dryer, two parking spaces, a dish with Canal Digital (and therefore Dutch channels), a BBQ and on request a mountain bike (Cannondale without motor) or golf set for rent (additional).

Many restaurants, small towns and trips possible. Bad Hersfeld and Fulda are half an hour's drive away and are fun to visit. Kassel and Erfurt are a little further away. Minimum age of the main tenant 25 years or older.

We are an energetic couple from the Netherlands (Steenwijk) with three children. We bought the house about 9 years ago and completely renovated / refurbished it. Because we (can) only make limited use of it ourselves, we would like to rent it out, so that several people can experience how nice Germany is and what there is to experience in terms of nature and culture. There is plenty to do, such as walking, cycling, golfing and good food.

The front of the house faces north. On hot days it is great to sit in the shade of the house, with that fantastic view of the woods.
The living room has a large sofa and an extra chair. The wall unit contains the TV and the radio / CD player.
Our cozy dining area has 6 chairs. 2 extra chairs are in the bedrooms. You can sit and eat overlooking the woods.
We have 3 double bedrooms, 1 on ground floor. The double rooms upstairs have their own sink and mirror. One of them has a door to the balcony.
There are 2 single bedrooms upstairs, 1 with a door to the balcony.
So great lays our village there. You can make wonderful walks from the Datsja, both through the woods, as the lands surrounding it.
Ground floor with a terrace at the front and rear. Do you prefer to sit in the sun or in the shade? In the summer months, that can make a difference. Enjoy a view of the forest at the front. If you are lucky you will see a family of deer or a fox roaming around.
There are 6 sleeping places on the first floor. Here you also have a second bathroom with washing machine for laundry in between. Always easy.

After visiting the old town of Fulda and some fun shopping a break in the park with these fountains is anything but a punishment. (Fulda is about a half hour drive from Kirchheim)

Castle Homberg was at the intersection of historic trade routes, via Fritzlar to Homberg (Bad) Hersfeld and Langen. If you are on top of the tower you need to see that this fortress was of great strategic significance. Much fantasy
