Our hospitable, luxurious holiday home is located in Gambia, in the town of Sanyang. We designed it ourselves and had it built with the help of our dear Gambian friends and want you to enjoy this beautiful place!

It is a modern house in Ibiza style and fully equipped. You will find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a sitting room, a luxury kitchen, a large covered terrace and a spacious swimming pool for cooling off. Each room has a ceiling fan.

In the immediate vicinity you will find an endless beach with an exotic look, eateries, a local market and the fishing village of Tanji. This and much more make a holiday at Casa Lamar a special place for relaxation.

Enthusiastic by our first visit to The Gambia, the people (the smiling coast of Africa) the nature with the beautiful beaches, the culture, various excursions and other activities led us to build a house here.

A house designed by ourselves, with a large veranda (after all, you live outside). The luxury of 3 bedrooms with a private bathroom, the spacious kitchen and the beautiful garden with swimming pool.

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the commencement date or during the rental period that he will not use the rented property (anymore), he will still owe the full rental price.

There are many activities to do in the Sanyang region. Enjoy on the beach (2.5 km) visiting the fishing village of Tanji. A boat trip on the border with Senegal to spot beautiful birds and admire the oyster culture. The many craft markets. A visit to Serekunda Market where you can get everything you need. Monkey Park and many other attractions. We can advise you on a multi-day trip.

There are several options to enjoy your dinner. Going out for dinner, on the beach, in touristic Serekunda, or at home on the bbq. My can also prepare a delicious Gambian meal for you. Worth trying!!! Quietly located beach bars for a nice cool down or a freshly made glass of fruit juice
