In The Gambia, in the town of Sanyang, you will find our hospitable, luxurious holiday home. We designed and built it ourselves with the help of our dear Gambian friends and want you to enjoy this beautiful place!

It is a modern house in Ibiza style and fully equipped. You will find three comfortable bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a sitting room, a luxury kitchen, a large covered terrace and a spacious swimming pool for cooling. Each room has a ceiling fan.

In the immediate vicinity you will find an endless beach with an exotic look, eateries, a local market and the fishing village of Tanji. This and much more make a holiday at Flower Garden House a special place for relaxation.

Enthused by our first visit to The Gambia, the people (the smiling coast of Africa) nature with the beautiful beaches, the culture, various excursions and other activities led us to build a house here.

A house with a large veranda, dining table and lounge set, (after all, you live outside). The luxury of 3 bedrooms with private bathrooms, the spacious kitchen and the beautiful garden with swimming pool, sunbeds and barbecue.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If, for whatever reason, the tenant is unable or unwilling to accept the rented property on the agreed date, he must inform the landlord immediately. A telephone notification of this must always be confirmed to the landlord in writing or by email.If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 6 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 30% of the rent; in case of cancellation up to 4 weeks 40% and from 2 weeks until the start date of the rental period 50%. If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will no longer use the rented property, he will continue to owe the full rent.

There are many activities to do in the Sanyang region. Enjoy on the beach (2.5 km) visiting the fishing village of Tanji. A boat trip on the border with Senegal to spot beautiful birds and admire the oyster culture. The many craft markets. A visit to Serekunda Market where you can get everything you need. Monkey Park and many other attractions. We can advise you on a multi-day trip.

There are several options to enjoy your dinner. Going out for dinner, on the beach, in touristic Serekunda, or at home on the bbq. My can also prepare a delicious Gambian meal for you. Worth trying!!! Quietly located beach bars for a nice cool down or a freshly made glass of fruit juice
