The stylish, charming, luxurious family-friendly Provencal villa is located on the edge of the forest on private land of over 2200 m2. From the terrace you have a view of the Alpilles and the Luberon.
The villa is fully equipped and is located on the gated domaine Les Demeures du Luc, together with other villas. The villa has a private swimming pool (10x4m). There are beautiful walking or cycling trips to be made; one can start directly from the villa through the forest towards Saumane de Vaucluse, or to the river Sorgue. For lovers of real cycling, you can follow challenging routes (Mont Ventoux! and beautiful tours over the Mont Vaucluse and through the Luberon). If you want to make it easier, eBikes can be rented in villages in the area. The beautiful 18-hole golf course is less than 2 km from the villa. You can also run to and around the golf course in a beautiful environment.
The house has an attractive living room, which connects to a kitchen with all modern appliances including microwave, convection oven and dishwasher. The house has a satellite connection so that many television channels can be received and of course Wifi. Through the French doors one enters a large covered Au-Vent; a lovely outdoor space where it is good to stay in the lounge sofa, with a beautiful view of the views of the Luberon and Alpilles. A large dining table is also here. The garden has several places where you can sit in the sun as well as in the natural shade of the trees.
On the lower floor is 1 bedroom with en suite shower room. The toilet is in the hallway. On the upper floor are 3 bedrooms, a bathroom with shower and bath. There is also a separate toilet here. All bedrooms have 2 beds (no bunk beds). There is a washing machine, an iron and ironing board. Kitchen and bed linen as well as a cot and high chair can be rented separately.
Fontaine de Vaucluse is 3 minutes by car (can also be walked 2.5 km) and l'Isle sur la Sorque is 5 minutes by car. Fontaine de Vaucluse is known for its source which arises from a huge inland lake. In l'Isle sur la Sorgue there are supermarkets, markets, shops and many restaurants with cozy terraces. l'Isle sur la Sorgue, is also called the "Venice of Provence" because of its many canals within which the old town is located. l'Isle sur la Sorgue is known worldwide for its 300 antique dealers and flea dealers. It has the second largest antique markets in France after Paris. Avignon is worth a visit with its culture (Palais des Papes) and cozy city center. The city is 20 km away and can also be easily reached by train. Also relatively close by are Carpentras, Arles, Aix en Provence and the famous "Mont Ventoux", where you can even ski in winter. Well-known villages such as Menerbes, Oppedes, Gordes, Roussillon, Lacoste and the picturesque village of Pernes-les-Fontaines (12 km) with the swimming lake are a 10-20 minute drive away.
Activities:
The house has a private swimming pool (10 x 4 meters). The Domaine has a larger swimming pool (25 x 5) and two tennis courts. There are bicycles for rent nearby. Many walks can also be made. You can also play table tennis or bocce. The Domaine's managers offer a bread service in high season and can provide you with all kinds of information about the area. Less than 2 km away is a beautiful 18-hole golf course, "Saumane Country Club", with beautiful views over the valley. In the immediate vicinity you can go canoeing, survival trips, climbing, trapeze and horseback riding.
Culinary and wine
The wine regions of Ventoux, Luberon and Côtes du Rhône are in the area. In the surrounding villages there are many restaurants and terraces. There are plenty of wine farms, markets and summer festivals (in July and August) to visit.
