The apartment is ideally situated in one of the most beautiful medieval villages of the Verdon, namely Villlecroze, with its waterfall, caves and fountains. It is a very peaceful dwelling, close to the bakery, cafes, restaurants and the shops of Villecroze. I have furnished it with a little bit of minimalisitc modernity, whilst adding some Provencal colours and furnitures too.
The apartment is on the second floor in the old village, with a cozy space for two people. It has an original tomette tile flooring, a modern shower unit, elegant furnishings and a view of a leafy tree in the summer and a glimpse of the Provencal countryside. The apartment is fully equipped, and although minimalist in furnishings, a bright and airy space greets you.
It is 30 minutes from Les Gorges de Verdon, the Lac D'Artignosc and Saint-Croix where you can canoe and or paddle in the turquoise waters, surrounded by the natural beauty of this region.
Beaches are found at Saint Raphael and Frejus, about 50 minutes away. Saint Tropez a 75 minutes on a good run with no traffic.
The village of Villecroze has its own caves and guided visits can be booked through the Tourist Office in Villecroze, which is located by one of the free parking areas in the village. There is a train station Les Arcs-Draguignan which is 30 minutes away and the Nice Airport is 90 minutes away by car. There is plenty of free parking in Villecroze.
There are numerous hiking trails in the area, whether your interest is in having a leisurely stroll, or in something more strenuous. Several riding schools are nearby.
