Beautiful detached holiday home for 4 people with swimming pool, located at the foot of the Pyrenees in a quiet French village. It is an excellent base for beautiful walks, golf or bike rides in the Pyrenees. The house is rated 4 stars.

The house was built in 2019 and is equipped with all comforts and air conditioning in the living room. The house has a lot of privacy and is located between the Spanish border and Perpignan and is a 20-minute drive from the Mediterranean Sea. At 6 km distance is Le Boulou, a town where all major shops can be found.
The house is difficult to access for people with wheelchairs.

The house is on one level. From the hall you enter the spacious living room with open kitchen (total 46 m2). The living room features a large sofa and 2 armchairs. There is TV and of course the house has WIFI (fiber optic) The kitchen is equipped with all built-in appliances (hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, washing machine, oven and microwave). The kitchen also has a dining table with 4 chairs. Then there are two bedrooms with a double bed (1.80x2.00). Between these bedrooms is a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 sinks and toilet.

Outside is a covered terrace (24m2) with a large dining table with 6 chairs and a barbecue.
The garden has a saltwater swimming pool (7x3.80),
which can be closed by an electric roller cover (the latter especially for the safety of small children). The pool is not heated. There are 4 sun loungers available.

Bed linen and towels are provided as standard.
Electricity is up to a consumption of 200kwh per week, included in the price, If you consume more than 200kwh per week, the extra costs are €0.50 per kWh.

The house is located on the edge of the forest, in a quiet French neighborhood and is detached.

Availability in 2026:
Inprinciple, we only rent out the house in the summer months. For 2026, this means that the house can be booked from July 12 to August 30.

The house is also available in the early and late season for guests who want to book 14 days or more. You can let us know by email. During this period the price is €200.00 per night, We will see if this is possible due to our own presence. The pool is not available from the beginning of October to the end of May.

Tresserre is easily accessible by plane from Girona (Spain) 1 hour drive and from Montpellier (France) 1.45 hours away.
If you prefer to come by train, you can reach Perpignan from Rotterdam, with a change in Paris, in 9 hours by TGV. You can rent a car there and be in the house 25 minutes later.

We are a Dutch couple who had a house built just above the Spanish border in France. We would like to share this beautiful place with others.

The honors in Tresserre are done for us by our host Karen.
Karen is English and speaks French fluently. Karen is your point of contact during your stay.

At the moment it is not possible to arrive on Friday and Saturday. Departure on these days is of course possible.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

If the renter wishes to cancel the booking for any reason, the renter must always confirm this by e-mail to the landlord (even if this has already been communicated to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
Cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
Cancellation between the 59th and the 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property (anymore), the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.

Service costs are €220.00 to be paid at the time of booking.
Electricity free up to 200 kwh per week, above that €0.50 per kWh (the costs will be deducted from the deposit)
Security deposit €300.00 to be paid upon booking. Return of the deposit (after settlement of any additional electricity costs and/or other costs) within 14 days after the end of the rental period.
