Beautiful detached holiday home for 4 people with swimming pool, located at the foot of the Pyrenees in a quiet French village. It is an excellent base for beautiful walks or bike rides in the Pyrenees. The house is classified with 4 stars.

The house was built in 2019 and equipped with all amenities and air conditioning in the living room. The house has a lot of privacy and is located between the Spanish border and Perpignan and is a 20-minute drive from the Mediterranean Sea. Le Boulou is 6 km away, a town where all major shops can be found.
The house is difficult to access for people in wheelchairs.

The house is on one level. From the hall you enter the spacious living room with open kitchen (total 46 m2). The living room has a large sofa and 2 armchairs. There is a TV and of course the house has WIFI (fiber optic). The kitchen is equipped with all built-in appliances (hob, extractor hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, washing machine, oven and microwave). The kitchen also has a dining table with 4 chairs. Then there are two bedrooms with a double bed (1.80x2.00). Between these bedrooms is a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, 2 sinks and toilet.

Outside is a covered terrace (24m2) with a large dining table with 6 chairs and a barbecue.
The garden has a saltwater swimming pool (7x3.80),
which can be closed by an electric roller cover (the latter mainly for the safety of small children). The pool is not heated. There are 4 sun loungers available.

Bed linen and towels are provided as standard.
Electricity is included in the price up to a consumption of 200 kWh per week. If you consume more than 200 kWh per week, the extra costs are €0.50 per kWh.

The house is located on the edge of the forest, in a quiet French district and is detached.

Tresserre is easy to reach by plane from Girona (Spain), a 1-hour drive and from Montpellier (France), a 1.45-hour drive.
If you prefer to come by train, you can reach Perpignan in 9 hours by TGV from Rotterdam, with a transfer in Paris. You can rent a car there and be at the house 25 minutes later.

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been passed on to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts: depending on the date of written cancellation by the renter:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the commencement date or during the rental period that it will not use the rented property (anymore), the tenant will continue to owe the full rental price.

Service costs are €200.00 (cash payment upon arrival at host)
Electricity free up to 200 kwh per week, above €0.40 per kwh (the costs are deducted from the deposit)
Deposit €300.00 to be paid upon booking. Return of the deposit (after settlement of any additional electricity costs and/or other costs) within 14 days after the end of the rental period.
